Chiasa woke to the soft chirping of birds outside and warm rays of sunshine tickling her cheek. Sleepily, she blindly felt around, scrunching her nose in irritation at the feeling of something missing. Hadn't there been a warm weight around her waist before? Sighing, she relaxed when her hand was caught by someone else and held gently.

"Hime?"

Ah, that is what had been missing.

Opening her eyes, Chiasa met her Blessed One's beautiful, mismatched ones.

"Wolf," she breathed tenderly, squeezing his hand softly.

A smile curled around his lips as he let out a breath of relief.

"It wasn't a dream after all."

Pulling the man closer, she brushed a kiss over his lips, repeating fiercely: "Not a dream."

Letting himself fall back, Kakashi laughed slightly, still holding her hand tightly.

"Did you think it was?" Chiasa asked tentatively, not wanting to hurt her Blessed One but also curious.

Dropping his arm over his eyes, Kakashi nodded slightly.

"I ... I want to believe it's real, so, so much. But... it's me we're talking about, Hime. Hatake Kakashi, the friend killer, a monster, a rabid dog on a leash. How could you ever-"

"I'm going to stop you there, Kakashi", she interrupted him firmly. "I won't allow anyone to talk about my Blessed One like that, not even you."

Climbing on top of him, she pulled his arm gently from his face, cupping his cheek firmly. The bed sheet pooled around her, but she didn't care, she was Kakashi's after all. Body, Heart, and soul.

A satisfied feeling filled her when his eyes roamed over her figure, darkening with desire as he stared at the marks on her skin. Marks that proofed her to be his, easily seen against her pale skin.

"You're kind, Kakashi. So incredible kind you wouldn't believe it. You'd do anything for those you love, you'd do anything for your home. Every mission you take, every enemy you slay, is one less threat to your home. The missions that gave you those horrible names? Without you, somebody else would have had to take them and could have lost their life because of it. You throw yourself into hell, so that others don't have to.

You killed your friend so that thousands could survive. I've read the mission report, Wolf. Nohara Rin had an unstable jinchuuriki seal which would have broken by the time you reached Konoha, and you've seen what the Kyuubi did. You prevented such a tragedy at the cost of your own conscience. You're selfless, my wolf. Too selfless and sacrificial at times if you'd ask me. You give your all and continue to give without ever expecting anything back.

You don't want others to see your pain because you know they'd break under the weight of what you carry day in, day out. So, you push them away because that hurt is nothing compared to what you hide, and you'd rather doom yourself than others.

You love so much that it kills you to see your loved ones hurt, so you're reluctant in letting others in, but Kakashi, Blessed One, that doesn't make you coldblooded. It makes you human, more human than anyone I've ever met.

And you're strong, love. So incredible strong because you can still love and care and feel, despite all the pain in your life. You love Konoha, you love your team, and you allowed me to love you."

Tears had gathered in Kakashi's eyes as he listened frozen, his sharingan burning the memory of Chiasa and her words into his mind so he would never ever forget them. So, he'd never forget the way she cupped his face like it was something precious, the way her eyes shone with fire, the way her lips moved as she formed words that destroyed the shadows in his heart. What had he ever done to receive this kami sent gift?
