Izuku Midoriya, was reminded everywhere he went, that he was a disappointment. In his short lifetime, he had disappointed a lot of people. His dad, mom, friends and best friend all because he lacked one thing, a quirk. It wasn't his fault. If he could have chosen whether or not to have a quirk, he'd definitely choose to have one. His dad had left, disappointed that his son didn't have a quirk. His mom comforted him but you could tell that she was trying to comfort herself as well, disappointed that she was left to look after him all by herself. His best friend began to bully him, while the rest of the class (and sometimes the teachers to) joined in because they were disappointed that he didn't have a quirk. In short, Izuku Midoriya was a disappoinment. So when a tall man in a suit offered to give him a quirk, he immediately took the opportunity. This way he could finally stop being a disappointment. Worst mistake of his life.
Izuku had learned that don't follow strangers even if they offer you candy also applied to if they offer you quirks. The "nice" man had kidnapped him and turned him into an experiment. He would still be getting quirks but he wouldn't be able to use them well, not on his own accord. He was apparently suppose to change appearances as well. Two weeks later and he still looked the same, but he didn't feel the same. He felt different, maybe it was the quirks he'd been giving. He didn't know what it was but he felt as if being made a experiment gave him some new found confidence. He finally got the confidence to stand up for himself. With his new found confidence, he might actually be able to escape.
When the kidnappers had learned they couldn't control him, they were disappointed. He could tell from their facial expressions, he was no stranger to disappointment. He took this as a chance to plan his escape and with the help of new quirks and new found confidence, he knew he was going to make it out if here alive. Almost as if he had read his mind, the "nice" man came in. He was wearing a smile. But this smile wasn't one for comforting or one after you've finished laughing, this smile was sickening. One that only people who enjoyed their malicious intents and seeing the pain and suffering it caused people, could enjoy. This man was the very emodiment of evil.
Izuku, had also learnt that the "nice" man always had a Plan B. The "nice" man wasn't going to let him get away so easily because he had told him himself, that he would kill his mother if he tried anything. The fact that he said with a grin in his face and a tone that made you think that he was praising him for something good that he did, only sickened Izuku. The man standing in front of him was vile and Izuku just wished he had noticed that sooner.
...
Izuku Midoriya had no idea how long he had been captive for. He could've been there for days which felt like weeks, weeks that felt months or months that felt like years. How long he'd been there? Was one of the many things unknown to him. All he did know was that if he ever got out of here and had children, he'd tell them to not to follow any nice looking man who offered them candy or a quirk. Yes, he'd do exactly that.
