the natural beauty of switzerland will effortlessly take one's breath away, even if it is day or night time. and it's all for the photoshoot held by vogue that namjoon and sooyoung could have an opportunity to enjoy the charm of zurich - the largest and prettiest city in said country that is so culturally historic, vibrant, friendly and runs as efficiently as a swiss watch.
not like they couldn't afford the trip, it's just sooyoung would hardly ever agree on traveling somewhere with namjoon unless the destination is hell. at least for now.
zurich seems to be one of those hardworking european cities, as darkness has not yet covered the place despite '8 pm' is currently shown on the phone's lockscreen. as if it is still trying to tell the story of its citizen in colours - from the neon rainbow signs to golden streetlight glows - this cityscape sure wants to create an impression as the graffiti of any visitor's heart.
the young woman stares at the sky, wishing to fly into the horizon above and being hugged by its warm semi-blackness. it has this vague brightness and saturation of a scenic artwork, alive within raw energy. perhaps it is the music to her eyes, vibrating, whispering in a way the ears cannot hear.
"hey soongie," namjoon whispers to her ears, clearly heard.
"you like to kill my mood, don't you." sooyoung rolls her eyes before switching her gaze back onto the man. "what is it?"
"do you want a photo in front of that cute flower shop?"
following the direction of the architect's index finger, what captures the fashion designer's attention is a small house decorated with different kinds of flowers, turning itself into the tenacious blossom of the city streets. as much as she hates to, sooyoung has to agree with namjoon on the aesthetic of the place. "i don't see why not," she shrugs, lending the man her phone. "why did you have to whisper even?"
yet he refuses. "i'll use my phone. i want to keep some exclusive pics of you in my camera roll." namjoon pulls out his samsung from the pocket, preparing for a partly professional shoot. "and you looked so concentrated earlier, so i didn't want to startle you."
"you could've just stayed quiet then," the girl flips her hair haughtily as she walks toward the shop. "make it quick, i'm starving."
"you're photogenic, so it won't take long." namjoon starts adjusting the angle, whereas sooyoung is already in her first posture, ready for the upcoming ones even.
flash after flash, the architect has turned into an unpaid photographer in a split second. his point of focus changes from one place to another, yet most of the time it lands on her. even when the background is a full floral pattern, park sooyoung remains the prettiest petal of the bouquet, a pure spark of joy upon a joyful day.
not long after the spontaneous shoot, the soon-to-be couple (spoiler) reach their expected-to-be last destination of the day (also spoiler) - michelin-starred restaurant 'ecco'. as they enter the place, a young waiter accompanies them to their reserved seats in a private room and namjoon would not miss a chance to assist sooyoung into her chair, as a gentleman he always has been. after taking a good amount of time choosing their dishes from the menu, the two finally have some time alone for a small chat before foods are served.
"lavish decoration, isn't it?" the tall man starts the conversation.
"minimal, but not boring at all. i like it." the woman acknowledges. "same with you."
namjoon's eyes wide open, feeling his heart skipped a beat. "which part?? i'm minimal but not boring, or you like me??"
"the former, of course, dumbass." sooyoung snorts amusingly. "oops, i should conform my language since we're at a fancy restaurant."
