I don't know why chapter 16 was after chapter 17... Fixed it though.

Sorry for the late update. Schools are back on full blast and my schedules have been packed. But I'm back bitches!

I fixed some grammar errors in some of my previous chapters. So, you know, that's good. Hope you enjoy this chapter. Yare Yare.

"We're here."

(Y/N) stepped out of the taxi with Seraphina already standing outside. He held his hand above his head to get a good view of the place. He whistled when he saw how big her house was. Not only that, but it also looked fancy. It was extremely long with a lot of windows.

"Sera, you live here?" It wasn't even a question to ask. But he still asked anyway because he couldn't believe that this was her house.

Seraphina inhaled deeply before nodding. Although albeit reluctantly for some reason. "Yeah, this is where I lived when I was younger. Before I moved into the Wellston dorms."

(Y/N) hummed before he started walking towards the front door. Seraphina started walking right behind him, but she was walking slower than usual. She had her head tilting down, looking at the concrete that leads to the front door of her house. (Y/N) turned around and saw her spacing out. She also seemed... Nervous. Which was quite odd for someone like her.

"Hey." Seraphina's head snapped towards (Y/N). "You alright."

Seraphina pulled up her jacket sleeve and straightened herself out. "Yeah, sorry. I was just spacing out for a minute."

(Y/N)'s mouth thinned slightly, but he didn't think about it too much.

The both of them reached the front door. (Y/N) stepped to the side to let Seraphina open the door. Since, you know, it's her house.

Seraphina grabbed her keys out of her pocket and gently placed them in the keyhole. She turned the key slightly to the left with an audible click. She turned it back to the center before removing the key and placing it back into her pocket.

She grabbed the handle before she twisted it down and pushed the door open. She started walking in a little before she turned around to face (Y/N), she waved her hand at him gesturing him to follow after him.

(Y/N) straightened himself before walking into the house and shutting the door behind him.

He dropped his white duffel on the floor before scratching his head and examining the place. It was HUGE, and huge was an understatement.

(Y/N) looked around more before his eyes laid on the women standing on the top staircase. He squinted his eyes to get a better view of who it was. The woman had magenta hair in a bun and had green eyes. This could only mean one thing. This person. The person standing up there. Could only be Sera's MOTHER!!

Ain't that a shocker? I was kidding. That was a rhetorical question. Pretty sure you knew that.

"Hey, mom. I'm home." (Y/N) turned his head to the left to see Sera speaking. "This is (Y/N). The one you invited over to stay for the remainder of the suspension."

(Y/N) had no idea who this person was, he didn't even know her name. But for the time being, we'll call her Seraphina's mom.

Seraphina's mom stared at her daughter, hands clenching on the railing. Her eyes narrowed down on the two standing near the front door. She lessened her grip before sighing.
