(Y/N) sat up straight and rubbed his temples. He was currently having a massive headache. He didn't know what had happened to him.
Observing the surroundings, (Y/N) concluded that he was in a cave. Neat. With his hands, he felt something soft. A flower bed full of yellow flowers sat beneath him. What are these golden flowers?
He looked around and noticed two people alongside him.
Doctor Darren was the first person he recognized. John's go-to man for healing and Wellston's school nurse. Darren massaged his eyes and took a glance around before spotting (Y/N).
"God damnit, (Y/N), what the hell is this? What'd you do?"
"I didn't do anything!" (Y/N) made a surrender gesture with his hands. "I just woke up as well, and I'm not sure what's going on."
Darren took a deep breath and massaged his face with his hands. "I seriously need to find a new job..."
Good to see that he was still up and moving.
Then there was a small child standing next to Darren. It was a tiny child, wearing a blue shirt with purple-colored stripes, blue jeans, and medium-length straight brown hair with short and choppy bangs.
Who was this kid and why was said kid here?
"Hi, there." (Y/N) over to the child who had a blank expression. Meanwhile, Darren was getting up from his seated position. "Uh, do you know what happened or why we're here?"
He didn't expect a kid to know, but it didn't hurt to ask. The small child shook its head. Well, that's to be expected.
"Do your parents know you're here?"
"-_-"
"Can you talk?"
"-_-"
"I'm going to assume that's a no.."
"-_-"
"Do you have a name at least?"
"-_-"
"Figures..."
(Y/N) started messing up his hair with his hands. Okay, he had no idea where he was and the only people here were Darren and this child.
"If you're done playing 20 questions with the kid I'd suggest you look up." Darren pointed up towards the top. (Y/N) looked up to see a hole with light coming through. "Maybe we fell through that hole and landed in this cave."
How the hell did he not notice it before?
"Huh, wonder what's at the top." (Y/N) shut his eyes for a moment before opening them to reveal hollowing silver irises and a blue aura surrounding him. With a thumbs-up, he turned to face the two. While Darren had a grumpy grimace on his face, the child returned the thumbs up without expressing any emotion.
He stooped down before leaping into the air. As he got closer to the hole, he noticed more light. Just a few more fee- "OW?!"
(Y/N) felt something hit the top of his head before sliding back to the ground. His fall was broken as he landed on the flower bed. His aura dissipated, and his eyes stopped glowing. He's gonna feel that one in the morning.
"What the hell happened?"
"I-I don't know." Darren assisted (Y/N) in standing before shaking his head. "I was almost at the top when I physically felt a force preventing me from leaving. Like some type of barrier."
"A Barrier, huh," Darren observed the hole before sighing. "Well, it seems like we can't leave out that way. Looks like we're going to have to find another way out."
"Yeah, but where woul- Huh?" (Y/N) felt the child pull on his pants while pointing towards a small passage in the cave. "Well, guess that's the way we're going."
The three of them went towards the tunnel, Darren complaining the entire time about how he didn't have any coffee, while (Y/N) chuckled at his plight.
"You know, we never got your name, and I don't feel like calling you child every time." (Y/N) placed his fingers beneath his chin in a pondering position before coming up with an idea. "I got it, how about I give you a nickname."
The child stared at (Y/N) with its non-open eyes but didn't signify anything to object.
"From now on, you shall be known as." (Y/N) took a dramatic pause.
"Bacon."
Darren snorted at the name a little while the now-dubbed Bacon pouted.
"It's settled. You are now known as Bacon." (Y/N) patted Bacon on the head. "By the way. Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?"
Darren didn't say anything but he knew everything coming was going to be shit.

Here's a new mini series called Fanatical Chronicles which is basically a series of crossovers with this story. It's dumb and stupid but I love it. It's non canon because it's just something I wanted to write for fun and doesn't have any impact on the story.
Why'd I choose Darren? Because he's my favorite character.
