God, I cannot believe people are still reading this. Also, I should probably stop writing stories late at night.
But heyyyy I finally updated after a billion years later.

Buffering? Hm, that's odd. Seraphina's right eyebrow rose slightly when the video playing suddenly stopped. Never had a connection problem before, maybe the router went out.
She moved the laptop on the couch as she stood up and started heading towards the door to check on the router. Seraphina's hand extended out to open her door but stopped when she saw the door opening already.
"Mom?" Seraphina's eyes widened when she saw her mother standing behind her door. "You're back?"
(BREAK)
"Zzz..." (Y/N) was sleeping on the couch in the living room which was where he was gonna stay for the next month since he was a guest at Seraphina's house. Nothing could beat sleeping into the afternoon.
"(Y/N), wake up."
"Zzz- Oh, wha-mm-wha-who, what?" (Y/N)'s eyes slightly opened up while he twisted his head to see who woke him up. Standing over him was Sera and standing next to her was Narisa with her arms crossed.
She did not seem amused.
"I've heard what the both of you've been doing this past week."
Oh great, what'd he do this time?
"Wasting time on pointless socializing and playing games. Is this how you two behave in school?"
"Sounds like the normal high schooler to me." (Y/N) commented back.
Narisa gave a small glare towards (Y/N) but didn't say anything.
"Don't forget why both of you are here in the first place." Narisa turned around and started to walk out of the room before turning around. "I've turned off the Wi-Fi so they'll be no distractions."
That's bullshit! (Y/N) couldn't believe she dared to turn off the Wi-Fi. No one can function without it!
"I want the both of you to reflect on your past for the next three weeks."
Her heels clicked on the floor before it became softer the farther away she walked.
"..."
(BREAK)
"You know, I'm still jealous that my mom didn't make you do any work."
"I'm thankful for that. I'm also thankful that she ain't my mom cause she kinda sucks. No offense."
"None taken."
Seraphina and (Y/N) we're found sitting by the desk in her room with the nightlight shining over the dozens of books laid out on the desk.
"I'm still surprised that my mom allowed you in here while I work."
(Y/N) scratched his head. "Yeah, well. I think as long as we aren't doing any "pointless socializing" then I can still converse with you."
He sighed. "But anyway, she said that I can do some of the work you're doing, and I'm tempted to do so."
Sera raised an eyebrow before facing him. "Why would you."
