I sneakingly decided to leave Caroline in the car and see what my parents say. I walked of to the door and rang the bell. I mother opened the door slightly then swung it full opened.
"Tommy!!!" She yelled. "Lukey is here!" She ran up to me and hugged me tight. Then backed off.
"Good heavens Thomas Luther. Where is the girl."
"We'll mamma I didn't bring her." I said tryin to hold in the smile. She looked around as if she didn't believe me.
"There." She pointed. "There she is in your truck. Go get her." I motioned her to come. She walked or should I clarify that. She strutted up to the front porch. I am kind of nervous for her to meet my parents. She's always came off shy and it makes me curious but I trust her.
"Hello. Mr and mrs Bryan." She looked at them and went for a hand shake as my parents pulled her into a hug.
"You are, if not more beautiful than Luke has described you. I just looked at her and rolled my eyes and I noticed her blushing.
"Well thank you. Ma'am."
"Mmmmhhhppp no no no. You can call me mamma. No mrs and ma'ams. I will accept Le Claire though." My mom is such a duntz sometimes bit i gotta I love her. I gave Caroline a tour of the house and showed her to her room. Then I decided to show her outside. We walked down the stairs.
"Your parents own such a beautiful place. It must have been amazing to grow up here."
"Yes it was an experience. And amazing one at that." She grabbed a banana off the counter. Glad for that cause she's feeling somewhat at home and we went outside.
