Few days later:
I'm home now. This week was a tough one but i pulled through. Took the pups in to get them signed up for hunting training a ear clean toe nail trim and we'll just basically a check up. Now I am at the studio. I am finishing recording my album. Touching things up and making sure everything sounds really good."Luke you're vocals are great today." Ed said.
I chuckled. "Well thanks Ed. They feel great too."
Ed has been there a lot for me. He's my boss and all but he's a really good friend of mine. He found me a great manager Kari and he's been there for me through like everything. I also think he sees a lot of potential in my voice and how I sing.
I got done in the studio and Michael and I were going out for a cold one at the Hitch N' Sit bar. It was a bar in Nashville for country music artists. It was really good. And it has like a amazing dining area. They have Great service and cheaper drinks than any other bars around. It's good to just go and hang out with out fans pummeling your ass. What they do is they have like a list of people that are accepted in. And then you can bring in anyone you want as long as they are with you. It's cool
"Hi Luke Bryan." I said to a worker at the score.
"Yup I see you right here." And they opened up the chain like gate thing for me to go in and then they checked carter. He came in and we headed towards the bar.
"Oops I'm sorry didn't mean to run into ya." I said to a bigger guy. "Blake?! Shit hey."
"It's fine. Hey Luke!" He said and we bro hugged. Blake is one of my country artist friends. He's been really good to me. He bought me a beer and we just hung around and chatted it up. carter left and went over with a couple of his other buddies.
"How's everything goin?" Blake asked.
"It's been really good. My music is good I'm getting more fans things have been good."
"That's good."
"How about yourself?" I asked.
"Pretty good music wise. Ally and I broke up about a week ago so that was alittle rough but I'm getting through it."
"Sorry to hear. And that's good."
We talked alittle more and I ended up catching up with Cole and Canaan smith too. I had three beers and decided I should probably head home so I did.I got home unlocked and opened my door. I was greeted by my dogs. It was about ten at night when I got home. I checked my phone cause I haven't been on it since I got to the bar. 15 new followers on Instagram. And 25 on Twitter. Nice. A couple missed calls and texts I just read them and listened to the voice mails. Nothing too important. Then I went to bed. Working on getting as much sleep as I can gettin myself prepared for the next couple months.
