Chapter 20- 'There for him'

I'm really sorry for not updating in a while (￣▽￣;)

Kirishima POV

I stared at his body, not taking a breath. I wanted to leave, but I knew sensei brought me here for a reason, so... Honestly idk what i'm supposed to do right now, like-

I snapped my head to behind me, where the door shot open. I expected to see Aizawa Sensei, but instead I was greeted with Midoriya.

Oh- he must be here to mourn too. Off course... I'm not the only one here who misses him. The whole class does. And I think him and Midobro were childhood buddies or sumin. This is what Mr. Aizawa meant when he said he needed to get someone else. God i'm stupid.

"Ah- H-hey Kirishima-kun... I know this is a dumb question but... How are you doing?" He tried smiling at me. It had become harder for me and Midoriya to keep up our smile, I mean, we used to be the 'smiley' people in class, but now...

"Y-yeah... I'm fine, how about you, Midoriya?" I whispered.

He nodded back and dropped his smile. He walked over and sat on a stool next to mine, as we both looked at the body of our lost friend.

I think I should say something? Wait no. Or yes? Arghhhh i suck at social situations! Wait, no I don't! I'm normally so carefree and easy with people. Shoot I guess being isolated for that long does take a toll on me, haha...

The silence felt a little awkward, but also peaceful. We both understood each other, and why we were here. Meh, I'll just keep quiet I guess.

"Hey... Kirishima?" Midoriya said gently.

"Ah- Yeah?"

"I'm glad you're here for him."

"Even though Kacchan hated me, and bullied me... I still looked up to him and respect him greatly. He's like a second all might to me! I still care for him too, whether he likes it or not. I know he's been through a lot. I wasn't able to be friends with him for almost 12 years, and you've done it in just a few months... I'm really happy that kachan has someone with him now, and i know that you also care for him too! So please... Take care of him for me, will ya?"

"Y-yeah... I will." I replied. Wait... What does he mean? Isn't Bakugo already dead? Eh? I'm so confused.

"Also, I know you love him, and don't forget that he loves you too. I'm sure you'll be happy together, and have a bright future!" He said brightly.

I blushed. Wait, did he mean like, a bro love, or like... love love? Arghhh. I buried my face in my arms, while Midobro just laughed.

But still... What the heck does he mean 'have a bright future?'

Before I could ask him, we heard another creak behind us. Oh, this time it has to be Aizawaaaaa-

Oh wait. It's Todoroki. What's he doing here? Oh yeah, he must be here to get Midoriya, I heard they'd been together almost all the time, since Todoroki 'needed it'?

"O-oh? Hey Todoroki!" I called out.

"Hi Kirishima. I didn't know you were in here... Sorry for intruding, I'll be leaving now." I told him it was okay, but he still insisted he didn't wanna disturb us or something.

I waved goodbye to him with my right hand- still keeping my left covering the area with my cuts like I had this whole time. I was just really self conscious, and it just felt right to keep checking it, even though I know it's well covered.

Just as he was about to leave, he rested his eyes on my hand on my thigh, and stopped in his tracks. I didn't think much of it, until he closed the door and stepped over to me.

Midoriya had a questioning look at him, so did I.

"Hey, Kirishima? Why don't you roll up your jeans for me?" W-what...? Had he found me out?

A/N idek if you can roll those jeans up, but i felt like it would sound even more wrong if he says sumin like 'i WaNnA sEe yOuR tHiGhs' like, no-

"U-uhm I need to go.." i was trying to get up, when Todobro stopped me.

"Don't leave, I know what's going on, and I know Midoriya should understand now." He shot a look of conformation at him. He looked confused at first, then his eyes widened, and he nodded.

"Oh no... Don't tell me..."
