15 years later.....

Dear Dairy,
I don't even know why I'm still writing in this damn thing it seems pointless. But Jake says it would "help me express my self". Still pointless to me but I guess I'll do it for Jake. So here goes. Living with Jakes family is amazing. We live in this huge mansion because his parents are so rich and Canis Lupus. Yup, I know I'm in a mansion full of wolves and I'm the only human. It isn't that bad, Ella the alpha female made sure everyone treated me as their own, and I was. Sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge since there emotions can go all over the place especially if they're angry. When ever Jake is mad I know I have to be good Scarlet and submit to him or his wolf would take over, and that's not a pretty picture. Jake's father, Kohl has been trying to keep Jake and his wolf in check so that Jake can control his wolf. Lately Jake's wolf has been out of hand, his eyes would stare mine down and sometimes he'd use his alpha power to make the other pack members submit to him. Anyways back to life today. Life is hard to describe right now. I mean I'm turning 18 soon, Jake has been training for his role as alpha, I have wonderful friends and an amazing boyfriend, Kyle. Things seem good right now but I'm not gonna keep my hopes high cause there's no telling when this good time will go bad.

"See I told you writing in a diary would be good for you. You were so deep in thought u didn't even hear me open the window", a male voice I had known all to well had said. I turned around to face Jake as he leaned against the window. I had climbed out my bedroom window which had the perfect place to sit on top of the roof. I always came to sit on the roof to just think or relax. I had taken the "diary" with me to the roof so I could focus a bit.

"This diary thing is stupid I always tell you how I feel, what's the point in writing it on paper," I said as I closed the diary and stood up to dust my jeans off.

"It's just another way for you to understand your feelings more. " Jake said as he slid back in the house, through my bedroom window.

I went to the window and did the same but before I did I turned around and stared at the full moon. I was always a night person. The moon always amused me as it lit up the dark night sky. I turned back to the window and went in my room. Jake had laid on my bed going through one of the magazines I had borrowed from a friend.

"I don't understand how you can be up all hours of the night. It at least explains why your always so tired in the mornings," Jake said never taking his eyes off the pages.

I walked to him and pushed his feet off my bed. " Keep your dirty shoes off my clean bed Jake I just washed them." I said laying next to him on my queen size bed. Since the mansion was huge all of our rooms were huge to.

I laid my head on Jake's shoulder and he scouted closer so that we both got comfortable. This was never awkward for us, we were always so close. Jake was used to my games and attitude while I was used to his possessive and brotherly like attitude.

I closed my eyes and we laid together in silence. Jake cleared his throat. I popped one eye open and looked up at him. He was staring down at me and looked as if he was gonna say something but couldn't.

"What is it? You look like you want to say something but at the same time you don't," I said while he turned his gaze to the roof and sighed deeply.

"Kyle's here." I popped both eyes open and quickly sat up.

"What?! Jake what the hell why didn't you tell me? How long has he been here?" I asked standing up from the bed.

"He's been here for the past 20 minutes. I was gonna tell you but you looked so focus on your writing that I didn't want Kyle to be a distraction." Jake said turning his gaze away from mine.
