(Jake's P.O.V)
I arrived at the mansion. Anger running through my veins. I had to find her.
I had just seen her less then 2 hours ago. Things were good, we were good. She was happy and laughing and I was happy that she was laughing again. She's already been through so much. And now she was kidnaped by the worst living creature out there.
Scarlet was in danger, and my wolf couldn't bare the fact that we weren't allowed to do anything about it.
I saw my mother standing in the middle of a group of troops. All of them in high alert. The troops growled at my arrival as they were all in there wolf forms. My mother being the only one left in her human form.
She erupted from the circle when she noticed it was me.
"Stand down warriors, it is just my son. The next alpha to this pack," she announced to the wolves who were on edge at the fact of an attack coming their way.
She ran to me her arms wide, as she fell to her knees to hug my wolf form.
"Your father?" she asked releasing me from the hug and bowing her head down as if she were scared to ask.
" I can still feel him but I sense his fear and anger. What happened Jake?"
I took a deep breath.
'Kohl is alright but I can understand his fear and anger," I mind linked to her.
"Then what has happened? Was it an attack? Scarlet and Blake still haven't returned and I'm worried," She said sympathy in her voice.
"I don't know what happened for sure, but we found Blake. He was badly wounded, he is on his way now. He is going to need the pack nurse."
My mother stood up and turned around to face the troops.
"Stay in formation. There is a wounded wolf on his way who needs our help. He is not from this pack but he is a trusted friend. You will not anger at the sight of him. I need one of you to contact the pack nurse, immediately," my mother ordered.
She turned around to face me again, she stayed standing.
"Scarlet? She was with Blake last. Is she with your father?" She said looking out into the forest.
I bowed my head down not being able to look at her.
"She was... taken...by the rouges," I linked my voice barely a whisper.
My mother fell to her knees again, the news taking her down.
I looked up to see her eyes immediately full of tears. Even if she tried she couldn't hide her grief. I whined at the sight of my mother being so broken. I knew the pack was feeling her grief as well.
"It can't be true..." she sobbed.
She hid her face in her hands, trying to hide the tears. I got closer to her, leaning my head against her.
"Mom, we're going to find her," I assured her.
The grief of both Alphas took control of my emotions as all I felt was their own grief instead of my own. I howled, causing the rest of the pack to join in as they were hurting to. Losing a pack member was like losing someone from your family.
The packs howls vibrated throughout the forest, causing birds to fly away and nearby animals to scurry.
The howls ended as our Alpha female stood. Her face still stained with sadness.
