Chapter 18:New Strength. New Looks.

(Scarlets P.O.V.)

Was last night a dream? Maybe it was and when I open my eyes I'll be waking up in my own bed and on my birthday. 

I peeked one eye open to see my surroundings.

Nope, I'm still laying in Blake's bed. Everything last night really did happen. I really am Canis Lupus. I really did just leave my best friend, my home. 

After leaving the mansion last night, Blake said I could crash at his place. I wasn't really sure where to go. I didn't want to intrude on any of my best friends homes and ask if I could stay there for a while. I knew they would say yes, but it still felt like intruding to me. Blake told me, I was welcome to stay with him as long as I wanted. I hadn't really given him an answer. 

But here I was, at his house, in his bed. When we had gotten to his house, he said he would take the couch and I could sleep in his bed. But after the nights events, I didn't want to be alone. He understood, and we both shared his bed. 

I checked my phone as it read 5:53. My alarm for school was going to go off, any second. Did I want to go to school? Could I handle it?

I went to my messages and messaged Brian. 

"Hey, sooo last night was crazy..."

I hit send and within 3 minutes he replied back.

"No kidding. What happened??"

I inhaled deeply.

"Well long story short, I'm Canis Lupus. Jake knew somethings and never told me. Kohl was the one to  hide my wolf and now I'm staying with Blake for a little while."

"Wow... you alright?"

I thought about it for a while. Was I ok? 

I dozed off for a minute, then replied. 

"I'll survive. How's Breanna??"

This time Brian took a while to respond so I pressed the power button and set my phone on my chest. It was only a minute later when my alarm went off. The ring was loud and I knew it would wake up Blake. I clicked the snooze button and placed the phone back on my chest. 

Blake rolled over slowly, and peeked one eye open. 

"You alright?" he asked in a sleepy voice.

"Yea, that was just my alarm for school."

"Are you going today?" he asked fully turning around and facing me.

"I don't know. I don't want to see Jake or talk to him right now, but I know the second he sees me he'll come up to me."

I inhaled deeply again before saying, "But I'm going to have to face him at some point, and I can't keep missing school."

My phone buzzed with a messaged. I checked the screen to see it was from Brian. 

"We have to talk about her. Somethings happened with her while you were out."

I quickly replied.

"What?? Is she alright?"

He had a quick reply as well.

"She's fine.. I think. Are you going to school?"

There was shuffling on the bed, I turned my head to see Blake rolling out of bed. 

"Where are you going," I asked curious.
