(Brian's P.O.V)
"Sooooo you're telling me that both my best friends plus my boyfriend, plusss Scarlets family, well both of her family, even half my school, are wolves???" Breanna asked shock on her face.
It's been 2 hours since Breanna and I first started talking. She was sitting criss cross on one of the arm chairs that rested in Kohl's office. I on the other hand was antsy. I had to stay standing, I was so nervous as to what Breanna would say or think after I broke the truth to her.
She wasn't as shocked as I thought she would be, but she is still a little bit.
"Yes. Blake and Wesley are to," I said with a cring.
Breanna took a deep breath.
"Why didn't you tell me??? Am I really that untrustworthy that everyone I know is keeping this huge secret from me?"
She was frustrated. I could see it written on her face. I hated that I had brought her to this.
"Babe it's not that. We were all trying to keep you from this life. Natalia didn't find out about Canis Lupus until Wesley marked her."
I stopped my sentence immediately.
Shit.
"This life???? Marked her?? What does that mean?"
I took a deep breath, maybe I can stall and she wont notice I'm not answering the second question.
"Being Canis Lupus is dangerous as it is. There are bad wolves known as rouges, and there are power alphas like Kohl who have to face the jealousy of other packs. It isn't easy. I didn't want you to have to worry or stress because there's a lot that comes with being Canis Lupus."
"I understand that, but we've been together for a long time Brian. It's just hard to process that my boyfriend, the one I tell everything to, would keep something this big away from me. Even Scarlet, who's been my friend since we were younger, kept this from me. I feel a bit betrayed," Breanna said playing with her thumbs.
"Baby please. You have to understand that we both wanted to tell you so bad. Scarlet is just finding out that she is Canis Lupus. But before it was just the Wolf family. It wasn't her secret to tell then. Now it is. Jake Wolf and his pack are the most powerful pack in Romania. Scarlet hasn't fully faced the dangers that pack brings, but now she is apart of their pack. Now she is going to get the feel of what danger is."
I hadn't noticed that I had been pacing back and forth, until I finished talking. I couldn't help it. I knew she was angry and talking about the danger Scarlet could be in, just makes me think of what danger Bree could be in. Now that she knows Canis Lupus exist.
Breanna stood up from where she sat and began to walk. When I realized it was me she was walking to, I stopped my pacing.
She stood there and just stared at me.
"Don't do that," I said as i could feel my wolf rising.
"Do what?"
I was trying so hard to keep the animal inside me, tamed. But he was winning the battle.
Breanna's expression went from worried to scared. Her right foot began to step back. Then I knew the beast had one. Brian was now staring into the eyes of the wolf that hid beneath him.
"Don't. That will only make him madder."
"Him?" she asked, fear still in her eyes.
"My wolf. He's restless. You're making him this way."
