Chapter 7:Let the Wolf roam free in its Kingdom.

The drive to the club took a little longer then expected but only because we hit a little traffic. We had finally arrived and parked in the back of the club. Jake and I arrived first before Natalia and Breanna because they wanted to stop somewhere to go to the bathroom. I told them to hold it in but I guess they couldn't, so Jake and I sat in his car, in the back of the club, waiting for them to get here.

Jake couldn't sit still in his seat and it was making me curious.

"What is wrong with you. Do you have to pee to or are you naturally antsy? "

"Scarlet, out of all of the clubs near us you choose this one. Do you even know about this club?" Jake asked looking at me crazy.

"Of course I know this club, I did my research. It's 'Impärätia lupi'."

Impärätia lupi meant 'The Wolves Kingdom' in Romanian. I knew this because Ella and Kohl made me learn Romanian as a child. It was, after all, the language they always talked in. They rarely talked in that language when I'm around unless it was secret and they didn't want me to know, which was rare. I knew the language but sometimes it would slip my mind what the words meant.

"Jake I'm not stupid. I know there is Canis Lupus in this club," I said turning in my seat to face him.

"Exaclty, Scarlet this place is full of Canis Lupus, which you and your friends are not. My wolf is on edge because it can sense the other wolves."

"Then let your wolf be free, Jake. This is after all his Kingdom," I said with a smile.

Before Jake could say something back, a car next to us honked. I turned around to face Breanna and Natalia exiting the car. I smiled and stepped out of Jakes car.

Jake locked the car and stepped next to me.

"Ready?" I asked looking at all of them.

Breanna and Natalia nodded slowly and looked at Jake. I rolled my eyes and began to walk to the back door of the club.

I stopped in front of it and knocked.

"Um, Scarlet you know this is the back door right? The front of the club is on the other side," Breanna commented.

"Yes Bre but our ticket in, is right here," I said as the door began to open slowly.

The door opened completely and Blake was on the other end of it. Blake was a friend of mine. I had met him last year at a festival and we had been good friends since. He was only 2 years older then me and I had to admit he was good looking. He was tall with jet black hair but had light blue in the front of it. His eyes were a very deep blue and they always amused me . Blake was Canis Lupus and he knew Jakes pack so he knew my life story as well as I did.

I texted Blake earlier and asked if he could get me and some friends into the club he worked at. And sure enough he said of course. So here we were.

"Lady's," I said extending my arms out to show the girls to go ahead of me. They walked through the doors and disappeared into the dark hall. Jake went through the door but stayed in eyes reach.

"Scarlet, I have to say if I would have known you were gonna look this great tonight I would have taken a shift off and joined you and your friends," Blake said very close to my ear.

"Aw Blake. You can still join, there's plenty of space in our little party," I replied.

"Guess my shifts gonna have to end early. Save me a dance?" he asked.

"Why, of course. Any thing to show you how good I am on the dance floor."

I stepped back and winked at Blake. His deep blue eyes, then started to glow meaning his wolf was reacting . I giggled and walked past him. He closed the door behind him and put his hand at the small of my back, leading me to the others.

We met them next to a huge black gate. There was loud thumping coming from the other side of the gate. Jake looked from me, to Blake, to Blake's hand. He then growled low, and thankfully Bre and Natalia weren't close enough to hear it.

"Jake, be nice," I said giving him a deep stare.

I held Jakes stare as Blake moved to the front of the huge gate. He pulled the handle and we were all blown away by the music. Breanna and Natalia walked pasted Blake and into the crowd. Jake was next to follow them.

I stopped by Blake and whispered close to his ear, knowing he would hear. "See you later, on the dance floor." I winked again at him and walked into the crowd.

I heard Blake close the gate, as I met with the others. I led them to the huge bar. The club was huge and sorda dark. The only lights were from the bar and DJ. The DJ was moving to the music as were the dancers. There were many couples dancing and I felt something trigger for a little but soon pushed it away. Nothing was gonna stop me from having a good night.

"Drinks anyone?" I asked with a smile.

"Scarlet, we aren't old enough to drink," Breanna tried yelling back, over the loud music.

"You act like that's stopped you before," I answered back .

I turned to the bar tender, " 4 shots please," I asked.

The bar tender laughed a bit and asked "Got an ID kid?"

"Vã rog, eu nu cred cã un copil stita Canis Lupus," I replied. (Translation -please, I don't think a kid would know your Canis Lupus)

The bar tenders smile fled as he looked from me to Jake then back to me. He smiled quickly again and displayed 4 shot glass, and soon filled them.

"Your smart kid," the bar tender said pushing the shot glasses closer to us.

"I know" was my reply as I passed out the shots to everyone. "Oh and keep them coming," I added.

The bar tender then set out a tray full of shots. I was the first to jug down the shot, the girls soon after. Jake stood still with the shot in his hand. The girls took a few more shots and looked towards me.

"Why don't I meet y'all at the dance floor in a bit," I said with a smile.

Natalia and Breanna shrugged and danced there way through the crowd. I then looked at Jake, who was handing me the filled shot glass back.

"Common Jake," I said pushing the shot glass softly, back to him

"Scarlet I can't I promised I would watch over you," Jake said locking eyes with me.

"Jake, stop worrying nothing's gonna happen. Let loose for once." I placed my hand on his cheek and stared into his eyes. "Let the wolf roam free in its Kingdom."

Jake closed his eyes tightly for a moment. I felt him inhale for a moment then release. His eyes grew tighter, and I knew he was fighting his wolf. I stepped closer to Jake, pressing my body against his.

"It's time for the wolf to take over," I whispered in his ear and moved the hand that had been resting on his cheek, down to his chest. "Let him free."

Jakes eyes opened instantly as they glowed a bright color. I smiled as he drank the shot and I handed him another. Now the party was really getting started.
