(Scarlet's P.O.V.)
I could hear waves crashing and the smell of sea salt hit my nose. I opened my eyes only to see the beauty of the morning sky. I turned my head, to see Jake facing me, with closed eyes and his arms still around me.

This was so nice of him to do. He was trying to make my birthday wish come true and I was great full for that.

I twisted a bit, to reach in my back pocket, for my phone. I turned it on to see the time. It was 6:32, and school didn't start till 8:30. If we got up now, we could go get some breakfast. I didn't want to leave this beautiful place, but my stomach refused.

"Jake," I whispered.

He groaned in return.

"Jake," I whispered again, a bit louder.

"What," he answered in a deep tired voice.

"Are you awake?" I asked.

"Oh yes Scarlet, I just keep my eyes shut when I'm awake so that people won't take it offensive."

I laughed at his response.

"Common get up, I'm starving," I said turning to face him.

He didn't respond, he just stayed there motionless.

I got up to lean on one of my elbos. With my other hand, I lifted one of Jakes eye lids.

"Hey, wake up unless you want me to complain to you all day about letting me starve to death," I said still holding his one eye open.

Jake groaned and pulled away from my hand. He stretched out his legs and arms, with shut eyes. He then, sighed and sat up.

"What time is it?" He asked rubbing his eyes.

"6:35."

"Scarlet, school doesn't start for another hour and a half," Jake said in a still sleepy voice.

"I'm sorry, but I'm hungry. I didn't eat last night. Please," I said begging.

Jake groaned again but answered, "Fine."

He stood up from the mattress, stretching again.

"Well are you gonna help, or do you want me to carry you to the trunk of the truck?" Jake asked looking down to me.

"I'm gonna help. Don't get your tail in a twist."

I stood up and stretched. Jake started to fold the blankets while I grabbed the pillows and threw them in the trunk. Jake handed me the folded up blankets, as I placed them in a pile. He then grabbed the mattress and threw it in the back as well. Jake pushed the trunk closed, and I slipped on my shoes.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Yup."

We both hoped into the truck and drove away from the beautiful ocean view.

It took us 20 minutes to drive to a Mc Donald's close to the school. We went through the drive thru and ate our breakfast in the car. Jake seemed kinda quiet, I wondered if everything was ok. It wasn't like him to be this quiet.

After eating, Jake drove us to school. Where we both sat in silence. It was 8:18 and we still had time till school started.

"Jake, is everything ok?"

"Yea, sorry I guess I just zoned out. I have lot on my mind," he said fettling with his thumbs.

"What's on your mind?" I asked.
