Chapter 12

Daniel P.O.V 

I was waiting for Alex at the gate. 

When the bell rang I saw Alex running 

"Hey." I said "Slow down or you'll slip." 

"And why do you care?" She said "It's not like you love me or anything special so why do you care?"

"Alex looked I'm just worried about you ok? Because your spe-" I was cut off by Alex.

"Don't you dare continue that sentence." She said " I'm going home."

"I'm coming to so wait up." 

"Why?" 

"Because the last time you were walking home alone you got hit and fell unconscious." 

"Well I'm not a kid, I can take care of myself you know?" She said but I ignored her.

"Hey Alex. Can I eat dinner here with you?" I said blushing a light shade of pink.

"And why would you want that?" she said 

"Cause I don't like eating alone."

"Eh....Whatever." She said while rolling her eyes

"Yes!" I said while pumping my fist in the air

I walked into her kitchen and started cooking.

"Hey Alex. Dinners ready." I said while putting the plate in the table. 

"No you go ahead. I'm still doing my homework." She said from the living room 

"Come on eat first before continuing your homework." 

"I can't I still have a lot more to do so you go ahead first." 

"No. If your still not going to eat then I'll wait for you."

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Alex asked

"Looking at you like what?" I asked 

"Like that." 

"Like what?" 

"Ah... Never mind." She said before going back to doing her home works."

I woke up to only feel a hand holding my left hand.

I looked at whose hand was it and it was Alex's.

She was sleeping peacefully. So I thought of going back to sleep.
