Chapter 45

3rd P.O.V

Daniel and Emily watch with horror as they saw the news.

The news report shows Alex's house on fire and people serrounds the place.

Firefighters trying to put out the fire while police officers holding back people and keeping everyone safe from going anywhere near the fire.

Silence fell upon the three only the news report was heard but for Alex it was like the whole world was in silence .

Where will I live now? Who could have done this? thoughts keeps running through Alex's mind.

Daniel was trying to get Alex attention by calling her name but failed so he turned her away from the news and made her face him.

"Alex. Hey look at me." Daniel said

Alex look at him and had tears at the corner of her eyes.

Daniel hugged her and was also rubbing her back to comfort her.

"Shhhh. Its alright. Cry it all out." He said while smoothing her back, before looking at Emily.

Alex burst out into tears and pulled Daniel into a thight hug, Emily seems to get what Daniel want and that was privacy with Alex so she left them alone in the room and went to the doctors to speak about Alex's condition.

After there was no more tears that was going to come out of her eyes only whimpers where heard.

"Sorry about that." Alex said while pointing at Daniels tear soak shirt.

"Its alright. Alex it's going to be OK. You can come live with me. If you want that is." Daniel offered

Alex pause to think before nodding.

Emily came back after a few minutes holding up a plastic bag containing food and water for both of them and telling them what the doctors had told her of Alex's condition before leaving to go home and prepare some things for Alex's to use.

Daniel had talked to catch up on what she had miss when she was still asleep.

Once night had come they both fell asleep.

< The next day >

Emily went to school before going to the hospital to give Alex the things she had prepared last night and also to hand Daniel the notes and she also had brought them some food.

When she got there she went to ask the doctor if Alex was free to be release yet.

"Ah. Yes. She is. But make sure she gets her rest OK?" The doctor said

"Yes. Of course. Thanks doc." Emily said excited that her friend is finally going to be release.

She run to the elevator and press the button to which floor her friend's where at.

She went to Alex hospital room and gave them the things she brought with her also telling them the good news.

After her friends where done eating and getting prepared to leave, she went to the front desk to check her friend out.

<Daniels place>

Once they arrived at Daniels place Daniel showed Alex the room she will be staying in before heading to his own room to go get shower and change.

They talked, ate and hang out for the rest of the day before Emily left to go back home and the two headed to their own room to retire for the night.
