Chapter 37

Daniel P.O.V

After classes as plan Emily and I met up in front on the gate.

We waited for Alex to go home first before continuing our discussion.

"How are we going to get her to give us her phone?" Emily ask

"I don't know." I said

"We can't just go up to her and say "Hey Alex. Can we look at your messages?"" Emily said

"No." I said "But we can think of other ways to get her phone."

"Oh. Yeah. Like what genius?"

"Like get her phone once she's not looking."

"No Way." Emily said "I don't want to be accused of stealing."

"Well neither do I."

"Let's think of something else then." I said thinking of another way to get us both Alex's phone.

After hours of thinking, nothing pops up in any of our minds.

"It's getting late and I have to go." Emily said

When I looked at the time, I was shocked.

She was right it's already 6 pm. I thought

"OK. I'll walk you then." I said

"No need." Emily said

"Sure?"

"I'm sure."

Emily left after saying good bye.

After Emily left I did the usual routine, while thinking of a way to get Alex's phone.

But there's really nothing that pops up.

"Ahhhh. This is so frustrating."I said raffling my hair in the process.

<Next morning>

I woke up and prepared my uniform for school and went in the bathroom

After 5 minutes of a relaxing hot bath.

I got out of the shower and got dress.

I went out of the door and headed to Alex's place.

I knock on the door and waited for a few minutes.

After awhile nothing happened.

I grab the door knob and turned it to find the door is not locked.

I walked in and called out to Alex's, but there's not responds.

I walked up to her room to see that she's not also there.

Maybe she is already at school. I thought

I went to school and went to her classroom to see if she's there.

When I got there I saw Emily but Alex was not there.

I went up to Emily and asked if she has seen Alex.

"No. I haven't seen Alex. I thought she was with you." Emily said

"No. When I got to her house there wasn't anyone there." I said

"Oh. My. God! Daniel where's my best friend?" Emily said worry evident in her voice.

"I don't know. Maybe she's just got some prob..." I was cut off by my phone ringing.

I brought my phone out and saw a text from someone.

When I opened the message and my eyes widen.
