Chapter 16

Alex P.O.V

<After School>

“Hey Em. Have you finished your project for art class yet?” I asked

“No. Why have you finished yours yet?” she said

“No, not yet. I was planning on submitting my drawing once the deadline is just coming closer so that I can still have time reviewing the others without worrying it.” I said

“Oh ok. What are you going to draw anyway?” She asked

“I wanted to draw the lily because the first time I saw it I was mesmerized by its beauty.”

“Oh I see. For me I wanted to draw a red rose because it is used once you have a date. Since I like romance and other stuff about love might as well draw a rose right?”

“Yeah. Anyway I got to go. Bye.”

“Bye. Be careful on your way home ok?”

“Ok I will.”

I walk to the gate and there I see Daniel waiting.

“Hi Daniel. Thanks by the way for getting us some lunch. We would have starved to death if you didn’t.” I said
“You’re welcome. Let’s go.” Daniel said

“Yeah.” I said

We started walking all the way home while talking about the things we like and school stuff.

“Hey Daniel. Are you good at art?” I asked

“Yeah. Why?” He said

“Well you see we have this project in art and I wanted to draw a lily but I don't know how. So can you help me?”

“Yeah sure I’ll help you.”

“Thanks Daniel. You're a lifesaver.”

“You’re welcome.”

We continued talking until we made it outside of my house.

“Want to…umm….have….dinner with….me tonight?” I said shuttering 

“Yeah sure.”

We walked inside the house and I told Daniel to wait in the living room while I go and prepare dinner.

I went inside the kitchen and thought of what to cook to night.

I thought of cooking a miso soup and a tempura.”

Once I was finished cooking I called Daniel and put the food in the table.

Once we were finished having dinner I went to go get change and Daniel went to watched TV.

Once I was done changing I went down stairs and walk up to Daniel.

“Hey Daniel. Don't you have homework to do?” I asked

“Nope.” He said while popping the letter p.

“How come?” I said

“Because I finished it during my break time and lunch time.” He said

“Oh ok.”

“How about you don't you have a homework?”

“Yes I have in fact its math which is hard.”

“Then shouldn’t you be doing it so that you can finish it early.”

“Ok, but you’re helping me right?”

“Nope.” He said “Do it yourself. Your homework not mines.”

“Oh please just help me solve it.” I said while putting up my best puppy dog face

“No.”

“Please”

“No”

After 10 minutes he finally gave up and we started solving my math homework.

Once we finished solving I said thanks to Daniel before he left.

I went upstairs and put my things in my bag set my alarm and went to bed.
