Chapter 38

Emily P.O.V

"Daniel. What's wrong? " I ask 

But there was no answer so I look to find Daniel staring at his phone wide eyes. 

Fear, worry, and anger was evident in his eyes. 

I went to his side and look at his phone to see what he saw to make him be like this. 

When I look at his phone I gasp. 

At his phone there in the message said 'If you want to see her again, alive and well then you better do as we say.' After the message was a picture of Alex tied to a chair. 

Her hair was a mess while there's blood starting from her forehead all the way to her shoulder blade.

I look at the sender to find the message came from an unknown number. 

I look at Daniel to see him clenching his fist in anger. 

"What are we going to do?" I ask tears threatening to fall down of my eyes . 

"I don't know." Daniel said while shaking in anger. 

"Should we tell it to the teachers?" I ask 

After I said that Daniels phone ringed to signal that there was a message. 

Daniel and I look at the sender. 

The sender was an unknown number. 

I gulp before reading the letter. 

Unknown no: 'Don't even think of reporting this or else she will be the one to suffer the consequences of your action.'   

After that was another picture of Alex but this time the was a gun pointed right at her head but we couldn't see the person holding the gun. 

Oh. God please help us, help Alex. She doesn't deserve this. Please. I prayed inside my thoughts while the tears I tried to hold back was now flowing out. 

I closed my eyes thinking of what would happen to Alex if we didn't save her on time. 

While having those thoughts in mind more tears started falling. 

I felt someone pulled me into a warm embrace while rubbing my back to calm me down.

After calming down I pulled away and saw that it was Daniel who had tried to calm me down.

I thank him with a tear stained face and a red swollen eyes from all the crying. 

"You're welcome. Why don't we head to Alex's place? Maybe we will find something there that can help us." Daniel suggested  

"Yeah. Let's go." I agreed and grab my stuff and head out of the school with Daniel beside me. 

While walking there we talked about who could have kidnapped Alex and other stuff.

<Alex's House> 

Once we arrived at Alex's place we started searching for any clues on where to find Alex or who kidnapped her. 

I went up to Alex's bedroom while Daniel search at the living room. 

When I got there I started looking at every corner of the room and found nothing. 

I was about to move to the next room when there was a sound that came from under the bed. 

I went to the bed and knelled down. 

I brought out my phone and opened the Flash on and search under the bed. 

After a few moments of searching, I finally found it. 

I grabbed it to see that it was Alex's cellphone. 

I run down the stairs and went into the living room calling Daniels name out. 

"Daniel!" I called out 

I got to the living room and saw Daniel looking at me worried. 

"I *pants* found *pants* Alex's phone." I said panting trough all the running. 

Daniel came over and help me get over the couch. 

Daniel went to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water, after sitting beside me. 

I drunk the water and tried  to calm my breath before telling Daniel on how I had found the phone. 

After telling him everything from the beginning till the end. 

We look at the phone in my hand before agreeing to open it. 

We opened it and went to the message box. 

When we found what we were looking for Daniel brought out his phone to compare the numbers of the one messaging him and the one at Alex. 

The number was a match but in order to be sure we doubled check it. 

After confirming that the number match we press the message and started reading the messages.
