018 - CONFRONTATION

VALORA'S POV

We grew distant. We really grew distant. As another week passed by I put a distance between us.

"Valora... Kitty." Niyakap ako ni Marion. Nasa couch kami ngayon habang nakaharap sa T.V.

Hapunan na ngayon at tapos na kami kumain. Since both of us were widely awake, we decided to have a movie marathon. A cliche love story presented in the television makes it worse because we're a couple who used to be like them. Not behind the camera but we always put an act towards to people.

I realized... Both of us were pretentious in different ways.

"Huwag mo ako hawakan." I scooted away from him at lumipat sa pinaka dulo ng couch. Nairita ako lalo kasi anong klaseng 'DON'T or WARNING' Ba ang dapat gamitin upang malaman niya na I'm serious.

I gasped when his hands roamed and encircled around my waist. Like a possessive husband, he demanded dominantly like a king and asked - "Mag usap tayo."

Nanginginig ako... Ano ang gagawin ko?

"Kitty... Please be honest na. You're being weird these past few days."

"A-Ako? W-W-Weird?" Nauutal kong saad. Dala ng kaba unti-unti nang umagos ang luha ko. I am not sad or what so ever in a situation that could make you cry because you're happy. I feel like... Natatakot, nalilito, naiinis kasama na ng nerbyos.

"Then what about you?" I sniffed.

His both arms supported me so I could be placed in front of him. Bali magkaharap kami ngayon while he was sitting on the couch while I am sitting in front on his lap. Naramdaman ko ang pagkuha niya ng remote mula sa side niya at pinatay na yung T.V.

Silence occurred and none of us dared to speak up. Naririnig ko lang ang bawat hinga namin sa iisang silid ngunit ako yung parang ewan. Baka akala ni Marion takas mental talaga ako kasi agad agad ako nagd-drama sa harapan niya.

"Itanong mo lahat saakin kitty. Itanong mo lahat." he reassured me with his soothing yet calm voice.

"P-Promise... Ju-Just p-p-promise me one thing." I inhaled while keeping my hicks lesser as long as I could hold it well.

"Pangako." nung nag bitaw siya ng isang salita ay agad akong nakaramdam na parang natanggalan ako ng tinik mula sa puso. While facing him, I wrapped my arms around his nape. I closed my eyes and go nearer so that our forehead should touch.

I did this... Dahil nakita ko sa likod yung dalawang kaluluwa na lagi kong kinakasama. They are just standing seriously behind the couch. Bathing with their own blood, I could hear their little lullabies that sounded old for me to listen.

"I think... I should be honest as well with you. Ask me anything kitty... Shhhhhh, tahan na kitty." nung naramdaman ko ang pagdampi ng kanyang labi mula sa aking leeg, I flinched.

"Who are you?" I whispered.

"Marion... It was always me kitty. Your own lamok. I am Marion Forge." he calmly replied.

He's not lying... He is not lying because I could feel the sincerity from his voice.

"Then... Before we met. W-Who are you?" napaungol ako saglit ng dinilaan niya leeg ko. I should stay focused because he is trying to shift my attention through temptation.

Since when did he turn out to be like this? Akala ko inosente siya? Then why is he acting like a bad boy now?
