Why are they here?"I look behind me and see them taking a seat at the table near us.
"Why is everything so overwhelming today?".
"Calm down okay, they didn't see us and this is Ariel's night,we can't let anything ruin it"She scoffs.
"If she sees me I'm leaving, I know damn well what she will say"She taps the table with her nails nervously, I put my hand on top of hers calming her down.
"Relax, drink some ice water"I pour her a glass and she chugs it again.
"Where is the waiter?"Richardo looks around and raises his hand at a young blonde man across the table.
"Hurry the hell up".
"Richardo!"I glare at him.
"I'm hungry and so is the birthday girl"Ariel nods.
"Yes I'm really hungry"She rubs her stomach and then repeats Richardo's actions by raising her hand at the waiter, I look at Richardo with a frown on my face.
"See what you did now?"He raises his hands in surrender.
"I did absolutely nothing amorcita"He smirks and I roll my eyes.
"Hello, I'm sorry for the wait,what can I get you guys?"He looks at the table.
"I see the drinks have already been served so what will you eat?"I tilt my head looking at him confused.
"Who put the drinks here?"He chuckles.
"No worries it was already reserved and Mr.Giovanni wanted everything ready before you came".
"And yet I still had to wait to order food"Richardo says and sips his drink,the waiter swallows hard and forces a smile.
"Like i said I'm terribly sorry"I kick Richardo's foot under the table and smile
at the waiter.
"That's alright, we'll take whatever you recommend and she'll have french fries and chicken"He nods.
"Of course, I'll get you the best dish in the kitchen"I smile nodding my head.
Richardo clears his throat and rests his chin on top of his hand.
"You can go now,stop drooling over my wife before I shove a spoon up your ass and pull it out of your mouth"I gasp along with Monica and Ariel.
"Ew,daddy that's so nasty"Ariel looks at him in disgust.
"Anywaysss... I apologise for his behavior, that's all we'll order for now"He nods politely.
"I'll be right back with your food"He says and walks away, I look at Richardo and he glares back at me.
"I'm not going to make a scene here, I'll wait till we get home"I say calmly and turn to Ariel
"We got you a cake at home but if you want we can order a piece here too"She nods excited.
"Only if you all order it too"I put a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Of course we will,now let me hear what's on your mind, you've been fidgeting with your fingers since we sat down"She glances at Richardo then back at me.
"I was telling...Daddy that I want to start kickboxing,I know you don't want anything to do with violence but I really want to try and train it because it seems fu-".
"Of course you can"Her eyes widen,a wide smile forms on her face.
"Thank you so so much mama"I lean in and kiss her cheek.
"No problem sunshine and while we're at it,I think you should also see a therapist"Her smile fades and she looks at me in disagreement.
"B...But why?".
"Because of everything that happened,and you're having trouble sleeping and there's also nightmares, it's best to go while it's all still fresh so you don't have problems in the future"She leans back and thinks.
"Me and daddy will be there with you of course"
"What will I be doing there?"I rest my arm on her chair and lean in whispering.
"You will play with toys,be asked how are you feeling, what's your biggest fear, talk about your nightmares"She moves her tongue across her teeth sighing.
"Will it make my nightmares go away?".
"It's worth to try,it can only make you feel better".
".... Alright, I'll try it but if I don't like the therapist?".
"Then I'll get you a new one, I promise, whatever makes you happy"She nods.
"Okay, I'll try it"I smile and kiss the top of her head.
"Good girl,now enjoy your day"She smiles and grabs her apple juice, I turn to Monica and see her giving her step mom a deadly glare while sipping her water slowly, I turn to Austin and he's glaring right at Monica while playing with his napkin,the only people that don't have some weird tension going on is the twins,the rest of us are just waiting to attack each other.
"I need to go to the bathroom, excuse me"Monica gets up and hurries to the bathroom, I look behind me and see that her sister is gone too, knowing Monica she's probably going to tackle her somewhere.
"I'll be right back, watch the girls"Richardo nods and I get up.
Last thing I need is a bathroom scene from the movie "she's the man".
I walk in the bathroom and just as I thought, Monica slamming her sister's head against the wall tiles.
"For God's sake what the hell Monica?"I rush to them and pull Monica away from her,the sister gets up and cracks her knuckles.
"You little rat"She rushes to her but I step on her foot with my heel making her wince in pain.
I grab a handful of her hair and push her but she punches me in the stomach.
"You little-"Monica grabs her heel and starts hitting her on the head with it.
"I'll...Show...You...You-".
The doors swing open and a gasp fills the room.
"MY BABY,YOU PSYCO LET HER GO"She marches towards her but I stick my leg out and trip her, making her fall down with a loud thump.
"OWWW".
"That's what you get for not minding your business"I grab her legs and drag her in the stall.
"LET ME GO THIS INSTANT"I step on her back before grabbing her head.
"CALLING MY SISTER A PSYCHO? DO IT AGAIN I DARE YOU"She groans and I drop her head down, causing her to yelp in pain.
"We need to get back"She throws her against the sink more time before backing away.
"OUCH DAMNIT,OKAY, OKAY LET ME GO ALREADY"Monica smirks and runs her fingers through her hair.
"Okay,we can go now"She peeks in the stall and sees her mom passed out with her face on the toilet seat.
"Good job twin"I give her a wink and put my heel on.
"Thank you, let's go now".
We walk out and get back to the table,our food already served.
Just act casual,like nothing happened.
"What took you so long?"Richardo asks.
"Oh nothing carino,just lady talk"I wink.
He stares at me in suspicion before nodding.
"Right,well the food is here"I smile and start eating, Austin's phone vibrates and he looks at the screen,his face tensing.
"Uhh, Richardo"Richardo stuffs his mouth and looks at him.
"Can't you see I'm eating? What?"He swallows and puts his fork down.
"Richardo,the guard is calling... About Stefannie"
