Isabella Pov
I glance at Monica,a small smile forming on our faces.
"What's with Stefannie?"He asks sternly.
"The guard said she started to shake violently and she fainted,he called the doctor and now they're waiting for us back home"Austin says quietly, making sure Ariel doesn't hear him.
"Is she dead? How did that happen?"He throws the napkin on the plate and gets up.
"Wait where are you going? It's her birthday Richardo,you can't just leave".
"I won't, I'm going to call and see what happened, I'll be right back"He says and walks away.
I turn to Monica and lean in whispering.
"How didn't they realize it's just sleeping medication?"She looks behind me.
"Because it gave her a bad reaction, she'll be fine don't worry,I did her a favour anyway,she hasn't been sleeping since she got there".
I nod and put a piece of fried chicken in my mouth before turning to Ariel,her face pale and flushed while she plays with the food on her plate.
"Baby are you okay?"She doesn't respond, I tap her shoulder and she just drops the fork on the plate and he head goes limp.
I feel my whole body tense and my heart dropping in my stomach.
I grab her head and tap her cheek in panic.
"Sunshine, sunshine wake up, Austin call Richardo"He gets up and runs to get him.
"What's happening to her?"Monica asks and stands on the other side of the chair, wipping Ariel's face with a wet napkin.
"I-I have no idea,we need to take her to the emergency room,get the twins"I say and scoop her in my arms,her body limp and warm.
"Hurry up"I say and run out the restaurant, rushing to our car and bumping right into Richardo and Austin near the exit.
"What's going on? Is she okay?".
"I...I don't know, she's not responding to me,her body is limp...A...A-"He takes her in his arms.
"It's okay, it'll be okay let's go to the emergency room"I nod and we all hurry in the car.
My heart is pounding inside my chest as I look at her being completely unresponsive.
We sit in the car, Monica sits with me and Ariel in the back and Richardo steps on the gas pedal.
"Is she breathing normally?"He asks in a rush,I wipe my tears and feel her heart while listening to her breathing.
"It's shallow,It's barely here"I say in panic.
"Calm down, it's going to be okay"He speeds through the town and I hold her in my arms.
Come on sunshine,wake up, it's your birthday,you can't just leave us all like this.

Ten minutes passed and we finally arrived at the hospital, I took her to the doctor that worked for emergencies and they took her right in, without me or Richardo.
"Why aren't they letting me go with her? I'm her mom, Richardo do something"I say through sobs,he wraps his arms around me hugging me tight.
"She's going to be okay,they need to focus on making her feel better and it's best if they do it in peace,I promise you this is the best hospital out there"He comforts me.
"It's her birthday today and she's in the hospital, nothing is okay,if something happens to her I-"He puts his hand over my mouth.
"Don't say that, nothing is going to happen to her, they'll walk out and tell us she's okay".
I bury my face in his chest and cry my eyes out,last thing I want is something happening to her,and out of all days it's happening on her birthday.
"I just want her to be okay so she can go to ballet and kickboxing like she wanted to"I grip his suit and cry harder.
"Isabella she's going to be okay, don't worry,come on the twins are watching you"I wipe my face and look at them, they stare at me confused.
I pick them both up and hold them in my arms carefully.
"I'm sorry for what happened babies, your sis-"Richardo stops me by kissing my cheek.
"Don't, they're little kids that don't know anything and don't apologise, there's nothing to apologise for"He puts his arm around my shoulders and leans back.
I know he's as scared as I am but he's trying to be calm for all of us,I already know how this will go with him, he's going to bottle it all up and when everything gets back to normal, then he'll snap and say things he doesn't mean, the same bullshit that got us into all the mess before and that's not something I would like to relive again.
20 minutes.
I pace around the waiting room while holding Enya in my arms,still impatiently waiting for someone to tells us what's going on with Ariel.
"Still nothing, what if something bad happened?".
"Don't be like that"Monica says while burping Allegra that I just got done feeding.
"Well I'm sorry but my daughter is inside and no one is telling me shit,of course I'll be worried and scared, Richardo I'm begging you go find out what's wrong"He sighs getting up.
"They told us to wait here amorcita,if you can just calm down and-".
"Our daughter is in there possibly fighting for her life and you're telling me to calm down? Why weren't you calm when I fell off that damn cliff? Huh?".
"You did what?!"Monica stares at me I shock.
"It doesn't concern you not one bit? Don't be that guy that closes off,I need you right now and you're acting like a parrot with the "calm down" nonsense, I'll calm down when they come out and tell me my baby is okay and healthy"I snap at him and continue walking all the way down the hallway fumming with rage.
He doesn't say anything,he just sits back down and stares at the floor.
1 hour.
Still nothing.
It's been one whole hour and the doctors just keep walking in and out without telling us anything.
This is nerve-wracking.
2 hours.
The twins fell asleep and so did Austin,the rest of us are still sitting and waiting for some news but barely anyone is even paying attention to us.
3 hours.
"For Ariel Giovanni?"I jump up startled.
"We're here parents,is she okay?"
He looks at us with a serious look on his face.
"She's...."
