If you had told Quinn Fabray that she'd be coming home to spend the holiday with people that she'd never consider back when she was 16, she would've laughed in your face. But here she was, sitting in a Lima's most crappiest excuse for Italian food, having a homecoming dinner with five of her best friends.

"I'd like to propose a toast!" Puck says raising his glass. He clears his throat. "To almost all of us keeping our promise to come back for Thanksgiving"

They all clink their glasses together. "Cheers! Here's to us!" Yes despite in the beginning of her high school career, Quinn couldn't imagine being anywhere else for the holidays.

Which is why a white lie couldn't hurt possibly this time around.

After questions about Kurt and Rachel's whereabouts, Mercedes pipes up. "Well, I think it's sweet that you and Rachel keep in touch, Quinn"

"Well she basically emails me every other week about how I still haven't used that train ticket she gave me" She lets out a chuckle at the thought Rachel Berry of all people would invite her down for a visit. But they ended up conversing a lot through text and email, and Quinn found out quickly that if you took the Broadway away from Rachel, she was like any other normal eighteen year old. Scared and nervous to be on a new adventure. Quinn knows she was the first few weeks while getting settled in New Haven.

She clears her throat and continues on. "I'm just.. I'm trying to keep straight A's, and I just got tapped to be in the only female secret society at at Yale. Former members, Hillary Clinton and Jennifer Beals"

Everyone voiced how impressed they were. They all knew Quinn would go on to do great things. Even with all the roadblocks especially last year. So it wasn't a surprise that she got into Yale. Santana looks at her carefully, almost trying to see through her.  See through her lie. Like how her mom and Danielle would if she stayed long enough. She planned to leave the minute Sectionals had ended, thankfully they were doing Thanksgiving dinner the day before.

Everyone else at their table seems to be to busy still enjoying their reunion, because Finn goes on to request their help to prepare the Newbies for the big day. Later on when the group dispersed for the evening, Quinn hangs back with Puck and Finn for a bit longer on account of Puck being her ride back home and it'd been a while since the two boys had caught up.

Finally she was able to break up the boy's banter for the night, and the three walked out of Breadstix in the cool autumn air. Puck ran ahead to bring the car over, leaving her standing alone with Finn. After he moment, he says, "I'm happy you came down. I uh, I honestly thought you wouldn't show"

Quinn raises a brow. "Oh?" Finn shrugs, putting his hands in his pockets. "You've been through a lot. You deserve to leave this town for a bit" he gives her his famous half crooked smile.
