FINN SUGGESTING A DIVA COMPETITION per the advice of one Miss Pillsbury was one of his better ideas, and Dani couldn't wait to get started. This whole thing would a good distraction from the whole never ending Brittana Saga. Of course when it was announced, countless egos were already flaring up in the choir room.
"You all might as well quit while you're ahead, because there are only two ways to spell Unique." Unique looked pointedly at everyone. "And one of then is spelt, D-I-V-A, DIVA"
Dani couldn't help but snort at the look that she's thrown in Tina's direction. The girl in question retorted, "I have more diva in my little finger, then you have in your whole angry inch, Unique" Dani snorted in disbelief behind her hand, to which Joe smirked and leaned over to whisper in her ear. "Are you gonna get in on this?"
"Oh yeah, big time" Dani smirked. "They won't even know what's coming"
Joe shrugged. "Maybe I should compete..." he says as an afterthought. Dani had thought he was joking but before she could speak up, a battle of powerhouse vocals had began, which was too tempting to pass up.

"So... what do you think?" Joe asked his girlfriend after first period as they walk to her locker. "About?" she says with a questioning glance, their conjoined hands swinging back and forth. "About me joining the diva competition?"
Dani looks up him with a surprised look. "Oh! Oh.. uh, well, if that's what's you wanna do, you know I'll support you.." she flashes a smile that is normally full of sunshine. But it seems not as genuine as it usually is. He leans against the locker next to Dani's as she retrieves her books for next period.
"You don't think I can do it?" He tries to keep the twinge of hurt coming from his voice, but Dani must have noticed it anyways. "No, oh no babe! It's not that, it's just... well" she wavers a lip between her teeth as she shuts her locker and slips her hand back into Joe's. "A diva has to to be... mean on some sort of level. And you're, well... you're too sweet. Babes... you're too much of a sweetheart"
