LUKE HEMMINGS AS ROBBIE

MICHAEL CLIFFORD AS GORDE
______________________________IT HAD BEEN A WEEK INTO 2013, and already Dani had truly wanted to pull her hair out. Ever since Puck had moved back to Lima to reconnect with his brother, that had also meant trying to reconnect with the Fabray's as well. Of course, Judy was happy that he'd come around for Friday meals again, and Dani couldn't really blame her on why that was.
Back when Quinn was pregnant with Beth, Puck truly had put an effort wherever he could, up until they gave up their daughter for adoption. Judy had grown to truly appreciate the young man for who he had become, and he just wasn't one half of the trouble twosome that would pull her daughters into the bucketload of mischief when they were younger. Even after they'd broken up, Judy still would appreciate Puck because he truly was there for Quinn.
Dani was a different story. Maybe it'd been because she was younger or the fact that she was only 14 when Quinn had gotten pregnant, but she had seen Puck grow into something she hated. A bully, a sleaze ball, someone who'd picked on people who weren't as confident or cocky as he was. Or who were different. Even when Puck had slowly developed into a more decent human being, leaving those childish acts behind, Dani still couldn't trust him. Maybe it was because of the fact that he'd hurt Quinn, like she had hurt him, Dani isn't sure. But she did know that keeping her distance from Puck to preserve her sanity was the best option.
That would be true if there wasn't a huge snowstorm and she'd still been able to drive herself to school, instead of the man in question needing to drive her there himself. Judy had insisted it was the safest option and Puck had snow tires on his truck. "Just until at least the snow melts, I don't want anything to happen to you" Her mother had gently told her.
Finn would have been able to if he hadn't decided to study himself to death over those show choir rulebooks. At least he was actually prepping for the next year, Dani had to give him points for that.
She just wished it wasn't at the expense of spending anytime with Puck. When Dani had climbed into his truck that morning, there were a variety of smells that had forced Dani to crack open her window.
Or rather attempted to. "Oh that one's broken, I still have to get it fixed" he says absentmindedly, turning on the radio to what seems to be a country station.
After a few moments, he speaks up. "Listen, I know you don't like this. Me driving you to school. If you want, I can help you get snow tires on the Camrey? Then you'd be able to drive yourself, and your mom would have a piece of mind"
Dani turns to look at him, he glances at her with a chuckle. "I can't believe you actually joined the Cheerios, all this time I'd have thought you'd rather jump off a cliff than join Sue Sylvester's clan of mini-me's"
She still doesn't respond, to which he lets out a deflated breath. "Look, I don't what I did, or why you've been ignoring me since I came back, but I'm sorry. Really. I want us to have some sort of relationship-"
