By now, everything that had just occured to Loki was only one giant blur.

Their battle.

The woman.

Thor destroying the Bifrost with his hammer.

The explosion.

Odin...

"I could of done it, father!"

I could have done it!"

For you!"

For all of us..."

He stared up as his so called father, voice breaking with desperation and eyes wet with tears as he never lost eye contact.

This was it.

The end.

His final failed ploy.

"No, Loki."

He stayed quiet, mouth closing and eyes narrowing.

"Loki, no." Thor warned.

But he let go anyway, falling towards the endless stars.

He heard Thor screaming for him as he allowed the Void to swallow him whole.

Loki embraced death, but it never came.

He woke up, feeling bruised and battered.

Confusion flooded his mind, there was a boot pressed into his skull and his head was pressed into a hard surface — the floor.

"He wakes."

Loki tried to look up, but the foot pushed him back down and he had to take a moment to collect himself before he struggled to his knees, realizing his arms were bound behind his back with chains.

A throne.

He sneered.

Gazing up at the stairs, the fallen god finally focused his blurred vision on the being sitting before him.

"Who are you?" He spat, still filled with absolute fury and anger towards his brother, his father, his other father, Asgard, Midgard even–

The purple man had the audacity to chuckle.

"You are Loki? Son of Odin?"

"What's that to you?"

"I'm Thanos."

"Never heard."

The boot kicked at him, but this time he was prepared, feeling weak no more.

Loki felt the person behind him stumble back whilst Loki never even shifted.

"You are bitter — jaundiced even, am I wrong?"

The raven haired boy didn't bother to respond.

"Where am I?"

Nobody answered him.

"He'll be useful, if you get him to comply."
