Don't you know I'm no good for you?
Peter Parker and Ned Leeds went to a party in a sketchy town tonight. Ned wanted Spider-Man to swing in and greet him to make Ned and Peter look cool but just like last time, it didn't work out that way.
I've learned to lose you, can't afford to
The other boy had gotten used to Peter getting hurt while Spider-Manning, but not like this.
Tore my shirt to stop you bleedin'
Ned tore some of his shirt to press down on the gunshot wound on Peter's chest and stomach area. He pleaded quietly for Peter to stay with him.
But nothin' ever stops you leavin'
Peter was with the Avengers more often — he couldn't hang out so much anymore which was a real bummer. Ned tried to call some of the Avengers on Peter's phone but none of them picked up. He couldn't multitask and his hands were getting real bloody.
Quiet when I'm coming home and I'm on my own
The "gang" got home after an event and they couldn't find the little Avenger anywhere.
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
Betty Brant stepped out and gasped. She immediately rushed over and Ned begged her to call 911.
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
She explained the situation to the operator who answered.
Don't you know too much already?
Ned knows practically everything about Peter. After all, they're best friends.
I'll only hurt you if you let me
The sound of sirens grew louder.
Call me friend but keep me closer (call me back)
The red and blue lights started getting nearer and Ned only pressed harder. The brunet mumbled something and his eyes began to droop. "Stay with me Peter. Please." Betty asked Ned if she needed to call anyone else and he told her to call his, "Dad."
And I'll call you when the party's over
Tony picked up the phone immediately.
Quiet when I'm comin' home and I'm on my own
"Peter?"
"This isn't Peter. Peter is injured, they'll be here soon."
And I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
Tony had already tracked his son's phone and was on his way in his suit.
But nothin' is better sometimes
The teens got curious on why the police was here with an ambulance and they began to pile out of the house.
Once we've both said our goodbyes
Ned whispered a goodbye to Peter and the injured teen did as well.
Let's just let it go
Iron Man landed and immediately stepped out of his suit.
"Peter?"
He ran toward the medics and ambulance workers that were trying it get the situation under control with the officers. He pushed through to hold Peter's hand.
"Hey dad."
Some students gasped. A few were recording.
Let me let you go
"Let me go. I'll be okay."
Betty and Ned informed Tony that they need to put Peter under surgery immediately and it might be risky. They asked Tony to go and get some rest. The hospital will call him when he can come and visit Peter.
Quiet when I'm comin' home and I'm on my own
Tony didn't say anything when he got home. All alone. The blood on his hands spoke enough words than his mouth ever could right now.
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
The Avengers engulfed Tony in a big group hug. He eventually explained to them what had happened.
I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that
Tony fell asleep, with the hopes of Peter surviving.

M/D/YProbably wrote this in July/August 2020. Luckily I saved my old stories in a doc before the whole fiasco with my old account. Barley bothered to alter this one so it's cringe and doesn't make too much sense.
Clearly I adored fluff but have moved onto darker aspects of the MCU now.
