It was an overcast day which was uncommon for Asgard, Sigyn wasn't used to not being able to see the beautiful sun, high in the sky. The usual endless light of the universe flashing off gilded structures and reflecting a golden glow on everything around it. Mornings were quiet, and the citizens of the city having barely awoken and not yet gone about their regular business. The serenity of it did not last long though. Her eyes searched around her as she waited for one of the princes and his merry friends. The Allmother had requested that Sigyn joined her son Thor and his friends the Warriors of three as well as Sif, the only female warrior outside of the Valkyries.

Groaning, the last thing she wanted to do with her day off was race around the woods chasing wildlife while listening to the boisterous males making herself seen but not heard. This wasn't her life, she was a Tjener to the Allmother, not her warrior son. Sigyn would have preferred to have locked herself in her room or visited the library to drown out the chaotic life within the walls of Asgard. Sigyn couldn't remember a day where she hadn't waited on someone else, be there for their every beck and call. Don't get her wrong, she enjoyed her life, she was treated well, most of the time; but she worked hard for the days she could call her own. She treasured the days where she could just wander around taking in the sights of the glorious sites that made up the prize realm out of all nine.

Sighing she heard the sure tale of the Warriors Three making their way to the stables, Fandral being the loudest as he boasted of yet another conquest of a noble woman's bed. He was the definition of a player, with no intentions of settling down anytime soon. Out of the three of them, he was the one Sigyn disliked the most. The way he treated women definitely left something to be desired, it was a testimony to how feather-brained most of the ladies in the court were. How they drooled over his looks and ignored his manner, sure he was charming at the best of times, but only until he had gotten what he wanted, then he was the foulest of men.

The other two, Volstagg and Hogun were pleasant enough, unless you got in the way of Volstagg and a feast. He was the loudest out of them all, not knowing the concept of inside voice levels, whereas Hogun was silent. He could sneak up on anyone, the only person Sigyn knew to be worse in all her centuries of life would have been Prince Loki, the younger brother of Thor. Loki was a trickster, a supreme magician and a cold and uninterested man. He loved his mother and brother, all though you could never tell if he was just bored or annoyed with Thor, he would stab the blonde with a dagger for anything, without any warning.

Speaking of the man, the sounds of horse hooves clumping broke the silence that Sigyn basted in, echoing in the beats as the beast sprinted across the shimmering rainbow bridge and through the magnificent, vaulted gateway. The rhythmic pound of hooves on stone echoed through the walls of the surrounding houses as the horse left the bridge and turned down a larger road. The rider's black hair was slicked back against his head, his leather outfit matched his stiff form and a green cape waved behind him, flittering in the wind.

Sigyn watched as Loki's horse reared backwards obviously displeased with his master's behaviour and threw him off. Racing forward Sigyn skidded across the pebbled pavement, ripping her knees apart as she stopped in front of the frazzled prince, whose eyes are glaring at the back of his retreating horse. He looked up and she watched as emotions, all negative burned across his eyes before his mouth opened. Not wanting to interrupt the prince, she lowered her head waiting for his order or instructions.

"I don't need you. I suggest you find another person to wait on or stay out of the way." He snarled at her coldly, his green eyes staring down hers, as if he could see directly into her soul. Her hand flew up to her mouth, in hopes of blocking out any unwanted cries, and she moved backwards, almost scrambling as her dress got caught under her. Nodding frantically, she murmured apologies to the agitated prince, and turned around to leave, but the sounds of liquid hitting the pavement caught her attention.
