Loki was worried. Sigyn had been in the medical wing for a month. Thor and the others had gone back to Midgard, and mother had given Thor a trinket, one that Freyja herself sealed to Wanda's wrist. Heimdall had reported that the witch was doing much better, Thanos was no longer controlling her, and she was healing. According to Thor, she had been hysterical when she was no longer suffering from the mad Titan. Sure, Freyja and Loki had broken the connection, but they hadn't been able to get rid of the effects; unlike Sigyn when she had freed him from the Titan.

Loki hadn't left the medical wing since Sigyn was admitted. He had seen what havoc was going on in her mind and it left him with dread. Would she survive?

The small sound of a chime had him groaning. He was due to go back in; his mother wanted him to go two times a day, in hopes of freeing her from her torment. He stretched, his back aching from sleeping in a fetal position on a chair all night. Climbing onto the bed, he once again looked at Sigyn and his heart broke. Her skin had gotten paler by the minute and her cheeks were becoming more sunken. She truly looked dead already, as if she was merely waiting for her Kin to take her away on winged horses.

Brushing away his tears, Loki curled up beside her, his legs caging her own as his body offered protection from any potential intruders. He highly doubted that would happen, as Odin had ordered double the amount of Einherjars to surround the wing. The Allfather doubted that the attack on the village was a coincidence; not when there had been peace there for ages. So, the only thing they could think of was someone didn't want Sigyn to return, if not her then Freyja.

Brushing back a lock of limp hair, Loki pressed his fingers to Sigyn's temple, losing himself into the workings of his beloved's mind. It didn't take long for the infirmary to disappear and what looked like Helheim to appear. Loki knew time was of the essence, so he started to run. His legs felt like jelly, it wasn't as if he was unfit, but for some reason this realm or dream made it hard to move. Eventually, after what felt like hours, he found Sigyn standing in a hallway, of what Loki would have sworn was the Avengers Tower. From where Sigyn stood, Loki could see the team all sitting there discussing something. Towering over her hunched form, he listened as Lady Natasha berated the rest of the team.

"Why do you treat her like this?" The redhead assassin screamed. "How is it her fault that she looks, fights and uses magic like him?"

Clint looked up and shrugged. "Why should we like her? Not even Thor likes her, and he knows her more than the rest of us."

Tony sighed, "She is my godmother, but after seeing how similar she is to Reindeer Games, I'm not sure we can trust her.

Loki couldn't believe it. The team were all turning their back on Sigyn, just because she was similar to him. Was that what she feared? The thought of it made him sick to his stomach. He looked down at her, as she stood there, fists clenched breathing heavily. Having enough, she left and made her way to the gym where she beat the crap out the voicing bags. Unknown to his presence, she yelled as she de-stressed. "Why can't they realise the truth? He was controlled, he didn't want to do any of it. Was tortured for a year, give the man a break."

Loki rubbed his face as he watched. It seemed petty and silly, but sometimes emotions were the easiest ways to kill a person. Let negative emotions fester and they'll end a person quicker than any disease or blood loss.

He watched as Sigyn left the gym and escaped to her bedroom before anyone could ask about the blood coated floors and walls of the once pristine gym. She locked herself in her bedroom where she huddled up in the corner; crying as the team continued to scream at one another. From what Loki could hear it didn't sound like anyone was coming around to Natasha. He wondered what was going on through Sigyn's head, what was her view on it all.
