Lilja woke up with a headache that would rival Sutur's after getting hit in the head with Mjolnir. Groaning she sat up and looked around the room. It was extravagant in colours, with the schemes of green and gold. She didn't know where she was, although the colours did sooth her as she climbed out of the bed. She remembered Fury finding her and having finally seen her godson after several years; she had also healed someone, a member of the Mystic Arts. But that still didn't explain the feeling of missing something, more to be precise, gaining something she had been missing.

Leaving the room, she was surprised to sense shields as she walked through the door, it made her feel nostalgic, made her think she was back in Asgard for a moment. That was until she heard the loud screeching of the one and only Tony Stark.

"I do not care! You are not taking my godmother somewhere else without me."

There was a low growl in response, and a voice she hadn't heard for centuries. "Brother, he is her family." When she had ran into Thor during the battle of New York, he hadn't spoken to her, so the rumble of his booming voice brought a timid smile to Lilja's face, until his words settled into her mind. Brother?

"Listen here Iron-Ass, she may be your godmother, but she is Asgardian, one who has been thought to be dead for centuries." The smooth baritone of the man she loved once upon a time made Lilja's stomach clench with excitement. She groaned and pressed her thighs together to quench the thirst that her body begged for, longed to be conquered by the man she had yearned for even after she fell from Asgard. Back when she had been Sigyn.

She panted as she leant against the wall, her head gorging a hole in the plaster. The man's voice hadn't changed much, and from what she saw four years before, he hadn't changed much in appearance; besides the sickly aura he wore. She had known back then, when he recovered from the hell that had been Thanos, he would be back to the handsome man he had always been. She dreaded seeing him in case her suspicions were correct. She had barely survived seeing his attractive self when she was merely an Tjener who somehow ended up being bonded with him. Now she knew that she was actually the daughter of Sigrún and Freyr; and the betrothed of the prince, according to her aunt Freyja; she didn't know how she would handle seeing him. Would he hate her for killing his chosen Själsfrände even though the woman had tried to kill the Allmother?

Her mind ran rampage while those at the end of the hallway continued to yell at one another. There was more than just Tony, Thor and him. It sounded like Clint; his voice was just as excited as it had been when he daydreamed of the Wizard franchise Harry Potter.

"Why can't Tony go with you? If what you say is true and Lilja is in fact the infamous Sigyn, wouldn't your father allow her family to come in the form of a thank you for saving his wife?"

"No, he wouldn't. Our father doesn't let mortals into Asgard." Thor replied, his voice rumbling down the hall as they approached closer. Lilja shook her head and decided to bite the bullet and dragged herself from the wall and walked down the hall, watching her feet rather than ahead of her; a mistake that she would feel contrite about, but secretly love. Her head slammed into a firm chest as muscular arms wrapped around her to prevent her from falling. Sparks went off where skin touched skin causing her to gasp and bite back a moan. Tilting her head back her eyes widened when she caught sight of who she had ran into.

Green eyes stared into her own. They watered and shone as the tears escaped and for the first time in ages, she got a glimpse of the man behind the mask. She had seen it for less than a second centuries before, it was so quick that she thought she had imagined it, but there was no doubting it this time. His lips wobbled as he held back a sob and she couldn't help herself, she really tried to but couldn't resist cradling his cheek in her palm. Smiling when he nuzzled into it, she whispered to him, "I am so sorry."
