Four years had passed since the Battle with the Dark Elves. Asgard has prospered; with several momentous agendas transpiring. One of which was Loki and Sigyn's wedding. A glorious celebration that Asgard and Midgard both celebrated. It had been beautiful in its simplicity, the bride not wanting a huge fuss. But Loki and Odin for once agreed on something; after everything Sigyn had suffered in her life, and everything she had done to save those close to the Throne; deserved the best.

There hadn't been any lack of expenses; the whole realm was excited for what the future held with the two most powerful sorcerers and best thinkers of the land married. Everyone had been shocked by the change in Prince Loki and all knew that it was thanks to the woman who could have been seen as his double. She was in so many ways, her mannerisms, magic, and skills in fighting.

The whole thing was happening at the perfect time as well. It was no secret that the Allfather and Allmother were getting on in their age, no longer the young and spry leaders that they had once been. The Throne needed new leaders, as long as they were of the house of Odin. The next in line was Thor, but despite everyone loving the golden-haired prince, he was not meant to take the throne. He had no idea how to lead, only how to fight for what he thought was right. Meanwhile, Loki, he was a prince that knew the ways of Court, he knew how to appease everyone while getting what was needed done; in the most successful way. Everyone knew that Loki was a formidable warrior and scholar, but with the backing of the last Valkyrie known to exist... well that was a winning duo no matter what their battle was.

The room was bright and there was laughter echoing from every corner; four women were huddled together aweing over a fifth who stood in front of a large mirror, tears welling up in her eyes. Filed to perfection, her Venus-red fingernails ran through her midnight hair. Her hair was pulled up into an intricate crown with jewels adorning the curls. Spools of it plunged around her photogenic face and hidden swan's neck, elegant and smooth. She had a decanter shaped waist, and her complexion had an impeccable ocherous hue. Her crescent shaped eyebrows inclined slightly when she saw the girls in the mirror staring at her. She wore a floor length green and white gown, one that hugged all her curves and splayed on the floor.

"Oh Sigyn, he is going to faint upon seeing you." One of the women, Natasha awed, gushing in excitement. This was the first Asgardian Wedding that she had ever seen, same for Pepper, and Wanda who was probably still looking for treats for them to snack on.

Pepper nodded; her eyes wide. "You look as beautiful as you had the day, I met you." She had been with Tony when he had run into his aunt; and the two women had automatically clicked over Tony's antics.

Sigyn smiled as she turned around. The two ladies from Midgard weren't alone. Standing beside them was Freyja and Frigga. Both were looking as teary-eyed as the others. Sigyn sniffed as she fought back the urge of crying and hugged the woman who had basically been her mother for years, then turned to face the Queen. Since finding out just who she was, Frigga had easily become a second mother to her. Of course, she knew Freyja wasn't her mother, but her aunt. However, after growing up without her mother and finding herself stranded on Midgard, the woman had easily for-gone the role of aunt and took the job as her mother.

Looking around the room, Sigyn sighed. It was the last night she was ever going to call the room her own. She had lived in the room for half a decade, of course in scale of her life, it wasn't a long time, but it had meant the whole world to her. It was her space, her haven where she had the time to reflect on her life, on her successes and failures into aspects. The room had been decorated the same way her original room in the Tjeners floor; the decorators had done an excellent job in duplicating the space. It was plain in its colours, with little materials, but that was Sigyn. She had never needed much in life, never wanted much.
