I Will Follow You Into The Dark~ On Hold

Chapter 11

It had been a few months since Loki joined the team. A lot had happened during those months. Loki and Thor spent more time together than they had in centuries; taking in the sights of Midgard and surprisingly helping S.H.I.E.L.D out when they needed it. Steve and Natahsa had fought a Hydra Soldier, one that turned out to be Steve's best friend from the forties, James "Bucky" Barnes. The Science Bro's; Tony and Bruce, had made a massive mistake and created a murderous bot in hopes of world peace, but it turned rogue and the team had the fight of their lives.

During the Avengers' search for Loki's Sceptre, they found enhanced twins who had aligned with Hydra. They were orphans thanks to one of Tony Stark's bombs. The twins wanted to ruin the Avengers, mainly Stark and with the help of what little of Hydra still existed, but they were defeated and joined Ultron in his mission of the annihilation of the Avengers. The twins had joined the Avengers when they found out the truth of Ultron, he didn't want to massacre the Avengers, he wanted to lay waste to all humans. They joined the Avengers in the fight which led them back to their home, Sokovia. It was an exhausting battle against an army of robots, and a floating city. Wanda and Pietro were partnered off with Loki, while Thor and Tony were up in the air with Vision and Tony's best friend Rhodes. The others stalked the ground, and as a team they rescued all they could. There is no battle without some casualties; and the team narrowly escaped losing one of their members due to a mysterious healer.

After the fight was over, they did however gain four more members; Sam Wilson; the Falcon who was the veteran who had helped Steve and Natasha with the fallout of S.H.I.E.L.D and Hydra; then the twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff and of course the android that saved the day, Vision. It wasn't long after they returned home did things turn for the worst. Hydra attacks started up again with rogue agents hunting down the healer from Sokovia. The reports of the person were that they had raven-hair and green magic; who did that sound like? Attack records went up, with their orders being 'create as much trouble' and corner 'The God Loki'. Most of the time Hydra was defeated and the team had been able to protect Loki.

It was a slow day in the tower. It had been raining for weeks and Loki was curled up on the couch, reading a book. Pietro was running around, having stolen one of Clint's arrows. Loki watched and laughed, shaking his head in amusement. Pietro had stuck by Loki's side a lot as he, along with the rest of the world, believed that he had saved the speedy Russian. But he hadn't, and he wondered who had. There was a sorcerer who could determine just who saved the boy, and they were arriving at the facility later that day. Loki was excited, to meet another magician was always an exciting prospect, and a natural one rather than a made one like Wanda. Speaking of the Scarlet Witch, she had seemed to join her brother on his quest of sticking by Loki's side like glue. Pietro, Loki could deal with, Wanda on the other hand, he couldn't.

She was always bugging him to teach her magic, her claim was to get better but it seemed that the mortals forgot that he could read minds, and hers was no different. She wanted to spend more time with the God so he would fall in love with her, because two sorcerers were better than just one. Like hell he would ever. His heart still belonged to Sigyn, and he just prayed that his time would be up soon so he could be reunited with her.

The sound and feeling of Pietro crashing into the couch Loki laid upon dragged the god from his inner musings. Groaning he looked over the top to find Pietro sprawled on the ground in a twist of limbs. Laughing Loki fell off the couch and walked around taking photos to be added to the unique website his brother had introduced to him, called 'Facebook'. Pietro looked up and grinned at Loki before both men froze, the sound of Wanda wafted down the hall.

"Etro, where are you?" She yelled out, red wisps floating through the air. Luckily for Pietro, Loki was talented with shields. The wisps hit the edge of the shield and shrivelled, evaporating into nothing. "Pietro come on, I vant to get this meeting over and done with. I have a God to convince."
