Sigyn had never seen so many injured in need of healing. Thor had already left with Jane to defeat Malekith on Midgard. Sigyn had offered to join him, but he said no, stating that she was better needed helping those in need, such as Loki. The moment that Thor had handed his unconscious body to her; his skin started turning an ashen blue. His flesh was marred with ridges and markings, beautiful in design. Sigyn stared at his body as she carried him to the Soulforge; snarling at any of the frightened people who dared to block her. Hell, she almost killed Volstagg when he yelled at her for bringing a Jotunn into Asgard.
Carefully lifting Loki onto her shoulder, grateful for the foresight of placing illusion shields over his wounds, while they were illusions, they acted as bandages as well. With her hands free, she held her blade against the idiot Volstagg's throat.
"You would dare refuse your Prince the healing he needs?" She growled at the shaken-up warrior. His mouth opened much like a goldfish, and he looked like he was going to fight back until there was a soft voice from behind them.
Frigga, in her glory had returned from Midgard. Her face was slightly pinched in anger, and Sigyn averted her eyes in fear that the Allmother's hostile emotions were directed at her. But Frigga merely pulled Sigyn, and Loki, to her side and glared down the warrior.
"Jotunn or not, Prince Loki is my son and your Prince. Do you have the gall deny him the right of his title and respect?"
Volstagg shook his head, his eyes widening as Sigyn swung Loki back into her arms, his head facing the warrior. It was clear as day that the frost giant that laid injured in her arms was indeed the prince. Nodding in respect, he continued on his way, leaving Sigyn with the Queen.
Frigga smiled down at her, her eyes twinkling with pride and amusement. "Your plan was brilliant. But how did he get injured?"
Sigyn's lips trembled as the pair of healers walked to the infirmary, "The Kursed, the beast that killed you in my vision, speared him with the sword that Loki had stabbed him with." She looked up at Frigga, "I am so sorry my Queen, I failed to protect your son and Malekith has the Aether. I failed us all."
Frigga tsked. "No, you saved me from an untimely death. The Avengers are helping Thor as you persuaded them to return. You killed a creature that was thought to be immortal by the Svartálfar; something that was thought to be impossible. You saved Asgard, not failed." She gently propelled Sigyn forward and only then did the woman realise that they had made it to the Soulforge, "On top of everything Sigyn Sigrúndöttir, you love my son for all that he is, and for all that he isn't. You are not flinching as his cold icy skin touches your own, a feat that I am saddened to say that not even Thor has accomplished."
Sigyn smiled lovingly down at Loki, laying him onto the golden table. She watched as his blue ridged chest rose and fell with each breathe, he took. If anything, the blue skin, and markings were beautiful to her, with every glance at them, she felt more aroused than she had ever, and there were many occasions where she had seen his full Aesir form. Of course, he never knew that it was her that helped him clean after a night at the pub, but there were days where Eirik was needed elsewhere.
Her hands glowed warm as she placed them on his chest. Closing her eyes, she pictured his perfect smooth flesh, unmarred by wounds. She pictured the sculptured chest and abs, that led to a tapered waist. Unlike his brother, Loki was lean in figure, but was strong despite his appearance. It was one of the many reasons she loved him. He didn't need excess muscles, that leaned towards too many to defend himself, to show his strength. Since finding him again, she had felt first-hand just how strong he was, how safe she felt in his embrace. To summarise, he was perfect.
Lost in her thoughts, she hadn't realised that she had successfully healed him. Frigga tapped her on the shoulder and urged her to break the connection; but Sigyn didn't want to. She had no idea how long it would be till she was able to be so close and spiritually connected to him, so she wanted to bask in all she could. But just because her magic was one of the strongest, didn't mean she was without limits. Her body felt heavy, and she stumbled backwards, her eyes glazing over.
