Tony stood there, the tablet long forgotten as it laid on the floor, screen shattered. First it was Aunt Lilja who had returned to him and now Aunt Freya. Hang on. They must have been in contact with one another for years; he had reached out to Aunt Freya, leaving voicemails on whether she knew where Lilja was. The witch never responded.

"Anthony." Freya smiled at the man who turned his nose up at the mention of his full name. He hugged her, noticing how Bruce looked like he was constipated; his eyes wide as was his mouth.

"Brucie, everything ok?"

Bruce startled at the sound of his name. Looking back at Tony, he pointed a finger to the blonde who still had gone back to glaring at Loki, her sword rising with height. "You know the Goddess Freyja?"

Tony's brows furrowed and turned to look at his aunt again. "Freya?"

The woman in question sighed as did Lilja who had since pulled Loki from the wall and back to the sofa, where they curled up together; both wearing Asgardian tunics; funny enough both donning green. Freya settled down opposite them, her eyes darting between the two of them while the rest of the team who were present made themselves comfortable.

Freya looked around, her lips curling into a smirk when she laid eyes on Steve. "Well would you believe it; little Stevie is still alive."

Lilja snorted while Steve looked at them both, his eyes cloudy as he clearly struggled to remember. Tony watched with a smirk as both women used magic to change their clothing to that of the SSR uniforms; and like a light switch, Steve clicked on. Smiling he launched himself at Freyja who chuckled as he hugged her, mumbling into her embrace.

"God, I thought you were dead. Freya."

Tony shook his head, "So what, a change of clothing knocked your memories back into gear?" At his comment, Clint guffawed, as he tilted his head. "Wait so you know them as well Steve?"

Steve nodded, turning to face Lilja. "Sorry Lil, I should have recognised you. You haven't changed, neither of you have." He then faced Clint and gestured to Tony, who raised a brow. "They were the co-founders of Sheild, besides Tony's father and Peggy."

Lilja changed back into her Asgardian clothing and snuggled into Loki's side, who was quick to wrap an arm around her. Freyja smiled softly at the sight, her curiosity getting the better of her. "So, you two made up?"

Loki stilled, his eyes narrowing at the woman. "Yes, Freyja. However, I must ask, where have you been all these centuries?"

Everyone froze at his question. Tony sat there, the word centuries flying around his mind. "You are the Aesir Goddess Freyja?"

Bruce was the one to answer, his eyes still not recovered. "She isn't Aesir by traditions. Remember Thor asking if we knew of Freyja and her twin Freyr?" Everyone who had been there nodded, and he continued. "By the myths, Freyja and Freyr were Vanir; who followed their parents' footsteps and married each other. After the Aesir and Vanir war, they joined the Aesir but married other people."

Freyja nodded at the doctor; her eyes trained on Tony. "Yes, the Aesir didn't condone our relationship. I married Odr while Freyr married Sigrún; the Queen of the Valkyries. They had a daughter before they both died," she turned her smile to Lilja, "Sigyn. But she disappeared with her father. I had felt the death of my twin and had a vision that my niece would land on Midgard, so I came here and waited for her."

Loki nodded, "But your vision didn't give you a sense of timeline. You waited over a millennium for her, here on Midgard. Why didn't you just come home?"

Freyja sighed, "After the death of both Freyr and Sigrún; I had no home. I had no idea where Sigyn was; and I couldn't stay in a place that wasn't home anymore." She paused, her eyes searching for someone, "But if I hadn't then I wouldn't have learnt how life here was, therefore wouldn't have been able to teach Sigyn the ways of this realm when she did arrive. However, the way she did, I wished was different."
