"Good morning," Ronnie's voice brought me out of my trance. I looked up from the pancakes I was making and smiled.

"Oh," I said. "Morning, Ronnie. I hope pancakes are okay for breakfast. They just sounded so damn good."

Ronnie rolled his eyes as he moved closer and sat down at the other end of the island. "It's all you've wanted for the past week! And for at least two meals a day," he argued. "You're a pancake addict, babe!"

I chuckled and shook my head. "I can't help it. Hey, before you leave for LA, do you want to go and grab some Jack's? I've been dying for their Mac N Cheese," I told him. My stomach nearly growled at the thought of the delicious Mac N Cheese.

"I guess that's fine," he replied and let out a deep sigh. "I wish I wasn't leaving you. I want to stay here."

I nodded. "I want you to stay here, too... But you've got the band to worry about. I don't blame you," I replied as I flipped the pancakes off the griddle and onto two plates.

I slid one over to Ronnie and picked mine up, putting it down in front of me as I sat down next to Ronnie. He looked over at me as I began to load butter up on them.

Feeling that he was watching me, I looked over to him and licked some butter off my fingers. "Can I help you?" I questioned, watching him as his adoring brown eyes looked toward me.

A smile made its way to his face. "The doctor was right," he said as he nodded down toward my growing bump. "You're actually starting to show now. You weren't showing much yesterday."

I smiled as I looked down. "Yeah," I replied and looked back to him. "It's kinda crazy. I've really been feeling him move, too. He actually woke me up this morning."

Ronnie chuckled. "He's certainly my son if he kept you up. Have you thought anymore about what you want to do?" He asked as he turned back to his food and began to eat.

I shook my head and frowned. "Not yet. I've still been browsing through families, but haven't found anyone that I think would be ideal. Is it bad I kinda want him to grow up on a farm? Be a good ol country boy?" I questioned.

It didn't sound weird to me, it was all I ever grew up around and it seemed like an ideal situation. He would definitely be able to thrive in a household where they taught hard work.

"What are you talking about!?" Ronnie asked with an eyebrow raised. "Why is that a big deal for you? With him being my kid, he will be the one and only one who likes rock music and be an outcast."

I rolled my eyes. "So it's stupid?" I pouted as I looked at him. "He would grow up with good values."

"How easy would that be to find, though? Maybe we keep him. We could be great parents. You'd be the best mom around," he announced. "There is no doubt in my mind!"

I sighed and shook my head. "I'm not saying no, but this is a lot to think about. I'll make my decision within the next two weeks that you're gone," I informed. "That way you will be back and we can completely talk it through."

Ronnie nodded. "Okay, babe. Like I said, take your time. You know what I want, but it's ultimately up to you," he replied, stuffing his face with pancakes.

"I'm not hungry anymore," I mumbled as I put my plate down. "I'm going to go and pack your things for you."

** Ronnie's POV **

"Hey man! It's about time you came back," Derek greeted as I approached him at the studio.

I had to go straight to the studio after landing. We had to put some final touches on our album.
