Tick. Tick. Tick. Tap.
Tick. Tap. Tick. Tick.
Tap. Tick.

The ticking of the clock made my anxiety grow higher. The tapping of the pencil made my patience wear thinner.

Harris' obnoxiously loud voice wasn't helping either. I tried to tune out the lesson. It's not like I really need to pay attention. Lydia will lend me her notes later.

Tick. Tick. Tap. Tick.

My head started to pound. It's way to bright in this classroom. I shut my eyes.

The ticking, the tapping, the talking. It all faded away into muffled noise.

After chem, I had algebra. Then I could go home and lay down for a bit.

"Stilinski."

But Scott said he needed me to go see Deaton with him.

"Stilinski."

Oh shit, do we have a quiz in math today?

"Mr. Stilinski."

It's fine, I'll just cheat off Lyds.

"Mr. Stilinski!!"

My eyes shoot back open, and immediately, I squint. Has the room always been so bright?

"Mr. Stilinski, have you listened to a word I've said?"

"Uh yeah, something about Avocado's law." That was his name, right?

Harris let out a deep sign. "Avogadro's law, Mr. Stilinski." He turned towards the board. "And this is why you're failing this class." I think he meant to say it under his breath, but everyone heard it. I sunk down into my seat, shooting Harris a glare. If looks could kill, he'd be 6 feet under.

It's not my fault your class is so fucking boring.

Harris began to move along with the lesson, and my eyes drifted from my desk to Scott. He looked as if he was focusing hard on something. His eyebrows were furrowed and his face was scrunched up, almost as if he were trying to listen in on someone. His head shot up, and his eyes trailed across the whiteboard and straight to the door. I almost leaned over to ask what he was so focused on, when the classroom door opened.

In walked the dean of students, and behind him...a girl.

No. Not a girl, an absolute angel.

She had long, dark hair with messy curls. Shy eyes that avoided contact with everyone. She was anxiously playing with the end of her scarf, her cheeks flushed red. I wish she would look up at me.

"Class, this is our new student, Allison Argent." The dean stuffed his hands in his pockets as he spoke.

I was too caught up in staring at her to pay attention to what he was saying. Her name was literally a perfect fit for her. Allison Argent. It was the kind of name that just rolled right off the tongue. And I thought Lydia was gorgeous?

She is. She's very gorgeous, but there are no words to describe how extremely captivating Allison is. Whatever the dean was saying must've come to an end because Allison began to make her way over here.

Holy shit-she's coming over here!

She walked passed my desk, and sat in the seat directly behind me. I could smell her perfume and fuck-it was intoxicating.

My palms started to get sweaty and my heart was racing. Should I turn around and say something? I felt a tap on my arm, and looked to my left. It was Scott. I furrowed my eyebrows. He's seriously trying to start a conversation after Harris just got onto me? Scott handed me a pen. A fucking pen, as if I didn't already have two million of those. He nudged his head backwards, mouthing the words "give it to Allison."

It all clicked at once. Scott must've been listening to Allison's conversation outside. That's probably why he was focusing so hard.

I spun around in my desk, maybe a little too quickly. Don't be weird, Stilinski.

She was looking down at her desk, which gave me a moment to look at her. I started to freeze up. Do I say something or do I just hand her the pen?

Her head started to lift, and I panicked. I shoved the pen towards her, holding it right in front of her face.

"I-uh-pen-" Oh my god. Idiot.

Her eyebrows furrowed, but she smiled at me nonetheless. I swear I almost fainted. Her smile was a once in a lifetime smile. If I could, I would take a picture of this exact moment.

She grabbed the pen from my hand and twiddled it between her fingers. "Thanks."

I nodded and turned back around, my face as red as a beet. Wow Stiles. I guess it's not just the looks that make the ladies scatter.

Scott's muffled laughter filled my ears. What an ass. I buried my head in my hands and let out a sigh, hoping the bell would ring so I could get the fuck out of this room.
