It'd been three days since Heather's party. Three days since I've moved from my home. Three days since I met my three best friends.

Three days since I saw Stiles kiss Heather.

It wasn't a big deal. It shouldn't have been. I barely knew the guy when it happened. I'd only known what I asked about. Maybe it hurt because I wanted a fresh start, but I moved to a town with people full of history.

Either way, I was over it by the next day. He's my friend, and we've gotten a bit closer. But there's things he's hiding from me.

Things they all hide from me.

They don't think I notice their slip ups when they talk about people from the past. They don't think I notice the hesitancy before saying something.

They don't think I notice the way they all look at each other, as if deciding whether or not they should open up to me. But it doesn't matter. They never do.

I guess it's okay to have secrets. But secrets like theirs make me feel like a pawn in a silly little game.

However, yesterday at the hospital, Melissa McCall had asked Stiles to meet her at the hospital. We all offered to go with, but he said it was fine.

Come to find out there were two bodies found. One in the woods, one at the pool. Lydia had looked nauseated when Stiles mentioned the body from the pool, and the look on his face told me he knew what she was thinking.

What was going on?

The other body found...was Heather. Stiles was crushed. I would be too if my childhood best friend was brutally murdered and I was the last person to ever see her.

But the strange thing was, their deaths weren't random. They were both strangled and tied to something. Their throats were slit, and the wire that strangled them was a hot wire. It burned into their skin.

I knew the group was talking about it. And I wanted to be apart of it. I wanted answers, but maybe it was nothing. Maybe they were just grieving over the loss of their friends.

Today, Lydia and I were out on the lacrosse field watching Stiles and Scott warm up. There was a third person with them. Lydia said his name was Isaac. He had shaggy blonde hair that fell right above his ears, blue eyes for days and a killer body. I bet he was great at more than just lacrosse.
