Once Again

Chapter 19

One hour later, Evan's and all the soldiers are ready to end their last battle. Now, they only have 5 hours to go before Wesley do something to Raenifer. Evan's hope that their plan are going to be successful since that bastard was not so clever enough to guess their plan. But, first he have to finish the expedition by killing all the monster. For Evan, there is nothing more important now other than to save Raenifer from that bastard.

"Let's win this fight" said Evan and all of the soldiers were shouted full with their energy. Then, they started again their journey and back to the place where there are full of monster there. They begin their attack with a shout and all of the healer and getting ready to prepare to heal the injured one immediately so that they will not waste time. 

The cannon also already launched by the soldiers while the others soldiers who riding a horses are using their sword to attack the monster within a close range. They use full of mana on the sword when the monster was more than 1 meter. 

The bigger it is the monster are more stronger that's why they must use more mana when slashing the big monster. They are very ugly and their mouth let out saliva until it dripped. Some of the monster have a dangerous saliva so the soldiers must be more careful and avoid their saliva.

"I have to finish this quickly. Rae must wait for me right now... I hope that bastard didn't touch her using that dirty hands" when Evan think about that.... He become more angry and his attack was more faster than before. He jump from the horse and landed at the shoulder of the monster and then he fastly slash the monster body. 

Tyra also do her best to fight the monster so that they will save Raenifer faster. Tyra was good at defending so whenever the monster trying to attack her... The monster will failed because her defend was very strong since she has a big shield with a magic power. 

While, Leo was strong because he's hearing was good. He can hear the monster that approach them but he's not that good at using a sword so he more to make a strategies and that is why the Archduke take him as his asisstant especially when it comes to battle... But still he also kill the monster using his own hands but not killed as much as the Archduke.

 Although the three of them were powerful, Evan was the most powerful among them since he goo at sword and control his mana when fighting so that his mana won't be finish quickly unlike Tyra and Leo.  

The three of them was known as the best soldiers in Ruiniz because they gained a bless from the saintess at the church. The king also gained the bless but since he is the king... He barely went to the battle because all of the noble were not agree when he wants to went into the forest and fight alongside the three of them. The nobles are worried if something bad happened to the emperor since the emperor is the Leader of the country so whatever happen they must refer to the emperor. 

The battle were going on for 3 hours and finally all of the monster had already died. From now on, maybe there will be no monster that will be near the kingdom since the monster always come back about 2 years if they already killed all of it. 

"WE SHOULD BE READY TO GO BACK TO RUINIZ AND REPORT IT TO THE EMPEROR THAT WE GAINED A VICTORY AGAIN AND THE AMOUNT OF DEAD PEOPLE WERE GETTING LESSER!!!" shouted Evan. The soldiers were cheering for the victory and then they get ready to go back. They finished their battle almost in the evening so maybe they will arrive at the kingdom at night. Until then, there is only 3 hours left for Evan to save Raenifer.

"It's so weird... Didn't I told Raenifer to hangout with me?? But she didn't come today" said the emperor to his secretary. He felt weird since if Raenifer was going to turn down his invitation... She would tell him early, send a letter or send someone to the palace. But, she just stay quite and didn't send anything to him.

"OHH YESS!! I forgot today was the day that the soldiers will come back right. Maybe that is why Raenifer didn't meet me today. She must be so excited to see Evan" said the emperor to his asisstant again while he's asisstant just nodded agreeing  to him.

Time Skip... 

"THE ARCHDUKE HAS ARRIVE!!!" shouted the guard who were guarding the kingdom gate. All of the soldiers walk with a proud face but not very proud because there are some people that died during the expedition. They might be gaining a victory but they still sad about the death of the other soldiers. 

All of the citizens were shouting at them with a happy expression and they are so proud with their soldiers. They are also some of them that are throwing the petals towards the soldiers because of the victory. Eventhough they are winning, Evan can keep himself calm after arrived at the kingdom. All he think is that he will report to the emperor and then save Raenifer. 

After that, the emperor were proudly giving them a merch to all of them ( it's not a merch it's actually like a reward but I don't remember what it's called ). The kingdom held a ceremony for the victory. The Archduke meet the emperor who was sitting on his throne with a happy face. He report all the things that happen during the expedition. The dead body were send to their house so that their family can see them before being buried. After done reported, Evan talk to the emperor about what happen to Raenifer.

"What?!! So Raenifer was being kidnapped by her ex fiancee?!! That's why she didn't come to see me" said the emperor. "I need to save her as soon as possible. I just wanted to tell you that when we're back... I hope you can get the prison ready to put that bastard in it. I will make sure to give him the worse punishment so that he will be tormented" said Evan with an angry serious face and clenched his fist. 

The emperor nodded his head and giving the permission to Evan to leave early from this ceremony. After that, Evan gather his man and get ready to save Raenifer. Leo was explaining their plan to surround Wesley silently so that he cannot do anything dangerous to Raenifer.

 "While the Duke will acting like there is no one that follow you. If he not believe Duke, you can just give him to check the place. We will hide carefully without him knowing and we will wearing a black clothes so that he could not see us" said Leo. "Then, the Duke will give him the money and gold that was fake... I will ask the magician to make a fake money and gold as fast as possible since we only have 2 hours left" explained Leo again to Evan and the others who will help in rescuing Raenifer.

"So, I just have to make sure that he believe the fake gold and money. Am I right??" Leo nodded his head. " I wonder how long my patience can hold while meeting that son of b*tch. Anyway, you should proceed quickly and we will go to the place where Raenifer get kidnap"
