Once Again

Chapter 13

In the morning, the sun was shining up into Evan's room through his window. Because of that, Evan has woken up from his sleep and saw that the curtains had been drawn. Evan blocked his eyes from being exposed to sunlight so he could see someone who was in the room. Then, he realized that Raenifer was in his room.

"Rae??" said Evan while starting to get off from his bed

"Ohh you have woken up?? Go clean up yourself first because last night you just went to bed right.... After that, we can eat our breakfast together" said Raenifer while setting up the table to put their breakfast

"Why don't we just eat in the dining room??"

"Urmm... Because I want you to rest comfortably today. Leo told me that yesterday you practiced swords very hard with the soldiers" explained Raenifer to Evan

"B-but--" 

"No more questions!! Hurry up clean yourself" Raenifer pulled Evan into his bathroom and then closed the doors 

Time Skip...

The Archduke have already finished shower and put on his clothes before breakfast. Then, he went back to his room and sit beside Raenifer.

"Did you make this??" asked the Duke while pick up one bread that fill with a peach jam and put in his mouth

"Yup!! Is it good??" 

"Not bad I suits my taste well" said Evan and then eat the scrambled egg made by Raenifer

"So... Did we really have to enter the palace tomorrow??" asked Raenifer while holding a cup of tea

"Yes... Why?? Are you so afraid to go there??" 

"No... But why??"

"The emperor want to see both of us after he knows about you and I are in relationship"

"But our relationship is not real right?? So why he wants to see us??"

"He didn't know about our deal...."

"Ohhhh"

"But didn't you think to make our relationship become real??" asked Evan and looks into Raenifer eyes with a serious face

"W-what are you talking about?!! Didn't we just pretend tobe a lover so why you suddenly want to make it real??" said Raenifer and want to get up from the sofa but Evan pull her hands make her sit back down

"Look... I know you want to run away from me again. But, did you really hate me or what?? "

"NO!! I don't hate you!! "

"If that so, we can become a real couple right??"

"W-wait!! I want to know why you want us to be real?? Are you drunk or something?? I think I didn't put any alcohol into your coffee" asled Raenifer after she looks at Evan who weirdly asked that kind of questions to her

"I like you"

Raenifer was shocked after hear the confession that Evan said to her. She was freeze and didn't know what to reply.

"I like you, Rae. I know it's weird because we've only known each other for almost a month. I can't deny it anymore that I like you. You are such a unique woman that I have ever seen. You are clever, kind, helpful, respect other people although their rank is lower than you and also your sweet smile. I love to see you smile happily when you do what you want. That's why I started to fall in love with you" explained Evan to show his true love towards Raenifer. Evan look down and just keep quiet after his confession. Raenifer look at him and smile.

"Ehemm... I think I like you too, Evan" said Raenifer

"What?!!" Evan looked up and his eyes was big like a puppy eyes. Raenifer laugh a bit and nodded her head.

"I think I like you too. Because I always be shy when you hold my hands or hugged me although just for a while and to be honest last night... I kinda like it when you need me when you was tired from work. I'm looks like a pervert right?? Haaa...." sighed Raenifer after she thought that she was like a pervert woman and cover her face with both of her hands. Then, she heard the Duke chuckled and look back at him.

"You're really funny, Rae. I didn't know that you like skinship with me. If I know I will always hug you" tease Evan

"I-I..... " Raenifer was stuttered and cannot say anything because what Evan said was the truth

"Don't be shy. I didn't mind to hold your hands and hug you everytime and everywhere. But, I want to know if you agree to be my real girlfriend??" said Evan and hold Raenifer hands to wait for her answer

"I think this time I will make a right decision. I'm sure Evan would not betray me like Wesley did so..."

"I will" answer Raenifer. After that, both of them hugged each other and smile happily.

Castle Of Ruiniz...

"Tyra... make sure to prepare a delicious meal tomorrow for my brother and his future fiancee" said the emperor

"But, it's not an event... It's just an invitation, Your Highness. So why must we prepare so many food?? It's just The Archduke and Lady Denner, right??"

"Yeah I know we don't have to prepare much but...... I want to make sure my future sister-in-law eat a good food when she come in our palace. We have to make sure that she likes here, then I can invite her to hangout with me when she free" said the emperor happily.

"Haihh.. I think Lady Denner will be awkward to hangout with Your Highness" said Tyra

"What?!! No!! I'm sure she will like me HAHAHAHA" said the emperor stubbornly and walk away from his office

"What the hell is wrong with that man?? I don't know what makes him so confident to think that  everyone will like him" think Tyra and start following the emperor.

House Of Leonard...

"Rae... Did you busy today??" 

"No... Why??"

"How about we--"

"Arghh!! I forgot to tell you. Today I want to go to the town to buy a new dress to go to the palace tomorrow"

"Didn't I give you many clothes to wear??"

"That's clothes is what I wear in the house. But, now I must buy a really beautiful dress to meet the emperor right?? If not I'm sure I will offended the emperor when he see me wearing a casual dress. At least, I need to make a good appearance as your girlfriend" 

"Hmm.. I think the emperor will not mind if you just wear a casual dress. He's such an easy man than you ever know"

"No no no.... It's my first time meet the emperor so whether he's easy or good man. I will respect him after dress up nicely" said Raenifer 

"Okay... But as you know, whatever you wear... You always beautiful" Raenifer just blushing after got a praise from the Duke and then they get ready to go to the town.

At The Town...

The Archduke and Raenifer walk in the dress shop to buy a dress that Raenifer wants. After that, they walk around the town to see some show that the commoner makes such as a theater and they laugh so happily when seeing the funny scene of the theater. Without them realizing, there is someone follow closely behind them.

"You looks so happy now, Raenifer. I will make sure that happiness would not last long" said the unknown man
