Once Again

Chapter 18

"Wesley?!!"

"Miss me, darling??" smirk Wesley and he touched Raenifer face then touch her hair. Raenifer try to avoid from him but she cannot move so much because her hands and leg were tied. 

"What do you want??" asked Raenifer with a hatred face. "Nothing... I just miss you that's why I take you with me". "TAKE ME?? THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL TAKE?? ARE YOU CRAZY?!! THIS IS KIDNAPPING!!" shouted Raenifer and her shout makes Wesley annoyed.

"CAN YOU SHUT UP?!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK BACK TO ME!!" shout him back and then he punch the walls behind Raenifer. His actions make Raenifer startled and scare.

"Aww... Did I make you scare?? I'm sorry dear. I would never do it again okay" said Wesley and touch Raenifer face. Raenifer was so disgusted with him... Acting like a psycho. "Can you let me go?? Why you kidnap me Wesley?!!" asked Raenifer with a deep voice and it's sound like want to shout at him.

"Haaa... I thought you already forgot what you do to me?? That's okay... Let me remind you again about what you did to me. YOU BROKE UP WITH ME!! " 

"Because of you my life has become miserable. There are so many people trying to catch me since I cannot pay the loan I make at them. Because of you, I got insulted by the others. I'M A MARQUESS!! BUT WHY MUST I GET TREATED LIKE THIS?!! ISN'T IT SEEMS UNFAIR TO ME?!! YOU GOT TO BE THE DUCHESS BUT I GOT TREATED LIKE A TRASH BECAUSE OF YOU!!" 

"It's your fault, Wesley. Actually, you have a bad intentions to me right?? That's why you want to get closed to me. You only want my family wealth since I was the Duke daughter and the only one heir" explained Raenifer. She know about it because she was reborn from her death.. She was killed by Wesley on the night of their wedding.

"Haaa... I don't know how can you know about my ideas. I thought you was a stupid girl who only care about relationship. I never think you as a clever girl. AHHHH!!! THAT'S WHY YOU BROKE OUR ENGAGEMENT RIGHT?!! I KNEW IT... YOU WOULD NEVER BROKE UP WITH ME UNLESS SOMETHING HAPPEN" 

"Can you stop this, Wesley. It's over... You already got punished because of your bad intentions to me"

"No!! I will get my revenge.. Since you are the future Duchess. I think the Archduke would be so worry if something happen to his future wife right?? So I have to use this opportunity to get what I want... HAHAHAHA. Now I will write a letter and  send it to the Archduke.... I bet he would be very worried on his expedition since he will know about what happen to you" 

"Ahh!! I hope after he heard about you... He would not be kill by the monster because he was distracted by thinking about you HAHAHAHA" laugh Wesley like a psycho happily and then walked out from the storage room. Raenifer was shocked after hearing his intentions.

 She was used as the bait for Wesley to get what he want from Evan. Of course he want money since he already be a wanted person at their country. Raenifer hopes that Evan will never come to her since it will be so dangerous. Wesley is crazy and he would do anything to get what he want when he's desperate.

"Evan..."

Evan was startled. He looks like he heard someone calling him. Suddenly, his heart beat so fast and nervous.

"Did something happen at the kingdom??" think Evan but then he was called by Tyra and that's make him forget about that.

"All of the dead body already in the carriage. There are some of the monster that was killed by our team when we try to gather the dead body" 

"Okay.. We should go back to the camp and think about the new strategies since it's getting late now" Tyra nodded and prepare to go back to spend another night at the place.

Evan cannot sleep since he think about Raenifer. He think that something bad has happened but he hoped that his intuitions was not real. Then, he try to sleep again so that he would not be tired tomorrow. All of the soldiers went to sleep after getting their dinner and take a shower at the lake near their camping place. But, there are some of the soldiers were not sleep since it's their duty to watch out the place. There is a shift between the soldiers so it's fair for everyone and all of them will get a good rest.

Next Day...

The Archduke was wearing his clothes after clean up himself. Then, Leo his asisstant come into the Duke tented with an urgent information.

"Archduke...." said Leo and passed the letter to Evan

"What is this??"

"It's a letter... Our man received the letter from a bird last night. It seems like the bird was sent by someone but there is no name on the letter" explained Leo to the Duke

Evan open the letter and read it..

Heloo Archduke Evan Leonard... I am Wesley. Remember me?? Fiancee of Raenifer Denner. I hope you are doing well since you must be struggled at the expedition. By the way, I will keep it short... I'm with your future wife right now. She looks beautiful as always. I'm so regret that I just let her go just like that. Anyway, if you want her back... You must come to me within 6 hours if not I will kill her with my own hands. OHH!! Don't forget to bring some gold and money to me since you know... It's pointless if I just give Raenifer to you but I don't get any rewards. So, GOODLUCK!! I GIVE YOU ONLY 6 HOURS TO BRING ALL OF THAT TO ME!!

Evan crumped the letter and slammed the table near him. He was so shocked after know that Raenifer was in danger. Then, he quickly get his things and went out from his tent... He rides his horse but Leo stop him since he did not say anything after read the letter.

"Duke?!! Where are you going??" 

"I'm going to finish all of the monster and kill that bastard"

"Bastard?? Who??" asked Leo since he didn't know about the letter. 

"Wesley... Raenifer ex boyfriend" Leo was startled and then he tried to calm the Duke since the Duke looks really mad. He convince the Duke to think before do a dangerous thing.

"We should make a strategy first. We can't be like this, Your Grace"

"RAENIFER IS IN DANGER AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?!!"

Then, Tyra approached both of them since she heard an argument between them.

"What happen?? Where are going, Your Grace??"

"Your Grace planned to kill all of the monster by himself and save Lady Raenifer from his ex boyfriend that kidnapped her" explained Leo

"WHAT?!! LADY DENNER GET KIDNAPPED?!!" shout Tyra. She also shocked after heard the news... No wonder the Duke want to finish their expedition by his own. The Duke cannot think anymore since he's mind was only about saving Raenifer. That's why he felt uncomfortable last night. His intuitions was right after all.

Tyra and Leo try to calm him down. After that, he finally calm a little bit and tell about the letter he just receive.

"So we only get 6 hours" said Leo

"I think it's enough. We will help you to finish our expedition since the monster was not many like yesterday and all of our soldiers was fully recovered now. So, I know that we can win this" said Tyra with  confidence face. Last night, her duty was to check about the others and she knows that all of the soldiers were recovered from their injured.

After hearing about that, Evan started to think about his planned. He try his best to calm himself from worrying to much. He also knows that if he attacked Wesley all of sudden... Raenifer will be in more danger because in she was in Wesley arm right now.
