Chapter 2

"My lady, the breakfast is ready" tell Liana one of the maid of house Denner

"Did my father already there?? "

"Yes my lady. Your grace are waiting for you"

Raenifer walk to the dining room with her escort maid. She enter the dining room and find her father look at her.

"Good morning my daughter, Raenifer"

"Good morning father" bow Raenifer to her father before she sit on the chair

"So, I heard from Wesley that you guys want to get some walk around the town today... Is that true?? "

"Yes father. But I want to cancel it"

Duke Asgustus Denner are very shock and he can't believe that for the first time her daughter refuse to go for a walk with Wesley

"I wonder why you suddenly want to cancel it"

"Ermm... Father I want to cancel the engagement between me and Wesley"

"What?!! Are you okay Raenifer?? Why did you suddenly decide to make this decisions?? "

"I have my own reasons father... I can't tell you for now. But I hope you can help me to cancel the engagement" Raenifer said while bowing her head down

"Haihh I'm sorry my dear but I can't do that without knowing the reasons why you want to break the engagement"

Raenifer are clueless. She didn't know how to make her father cancel the engagement. But suddenly some idea come out from her mind.

"I'm in love with Archduke Leonard"

"What?!?!! Are you crazy Raenifer?? "

"No I'm not. I really love him father"

"But Archduke Leonard never meet you. How can you love him?? "

"No father. I already talk with him from the last event"

"Hahahaha my dear you're so funny. That's enough I know you're are boring this day. Just go out with Wesley and never do this kind of joke again"

"I'm not joking!!! "

"Yes yes you are not joking... Hahahaha"

Duke Denner just laugh at his daughter and Raenifer are so mad with her father. She left the dining room and decide to go to the library.

Raenifer walk into the library and look for something that looks like a document.

"A-ha! I find it... This thing can help me to avoid the wedding"

Raenifer read through the document and write something on the paper... It's looks like an agreement but what kind of agreement??

"My lady what dress are you going to wear for this party?? "

"I want to wear something that has a bright colour that can make all the noble family look at me and even Archduke Leonard will look at me"

"What?? Ermm okay" Liana feel weird with her master attitude lately. But she think that Raenifer just want to be more pretty than the other woman

At the party...

"Welcome Duke Asgustus Denner and Lady Raenifer Denner. Thanks for coming to our event" said Lady Isabelle

"You're welcome... I'm so glad to meet you Lady Isabelle" said Duke Denner and shake hands with Lady Isabelle

"Excuse me father. I need to go to the restroom"

"Alright"

Raenifer POV

I need to find Archduke Leonard and make a deal with him. He's the only one who can help me right now.

Raenifer look around the hall and finally see the tall man with black hair and brown eyes are talking with the others. Raenifer smile widely and start walking to the Archduke but....

"Raenifer!!! "

Raenifer turn her head and see her fiancee wave his hand toward her.

Oh my goodness... Why did this guy suddenly appear here??!!
