Chapter 34

Emery's POV

"Are you sure about me not being here tonight?" I asked Rain.

After the dinner yesterday Zara and grace took me back to the club to get my car, and I drove to the hospital to stay with Rain. Right now I'm sitting with Rain while she does her chemotherapy.

"Emery you know how your my sister right" Rain asked.

"Yes," I said.

"I know I have cancer and everything but you don't need to worry about me, you always call all the time you come by every day and I'm never alone. I'm either here with the other kids and my friends come always come by. So yes I'm ok with you going out tonight but I would like a coffee the next day" she said.

"Don't worry you're getting the coffee" I said laughing a little.

"Good now is there anyone special," she asked.

Should I tell her about the whole thing with Xavier?. Nah, I'll just wait to tell her.

"No," I said.

"A girl?" She asked.

"What no," I said laughing.

"You know I'll support you," she said laughing too.

"I know but I  like guys," I said.

"Ok, but like are you going to find a boyfriend though," she asked.

I don't think I can find myself a boyfriend, special cause I'm Xavier's so called wife.

"Not really, I don't think I need one yet," I said.

"You need one," she said.

"Rain," I said smiling a bit.

"What, it's true," she said laughing a little.

"Not yet, at least," I said.

"Ok Rain your all finished" the nurse said.

"Ok, thank you," Rain said.

I was pushing rain in her wheelchair to her room and once we walked in I seen Grace and Zara.

"What are you guys doing here"I pushing Zara to the bed.

"We just wanted to stop by and we brought food," Zara said.

"Ohh food, "Rain said getting on the bed.

"How did you guys find what room we were in," I asked.

"Isaac told us," Grace said.

This dude really remember the number to the room.

"Who are you, not to sound rude" Rain asked Grace.

"Ohh hi I'm Grace, Zara's, and your Sister friend," she said with her hand out.

"Well I'm Rain Emery's sister," Rain said shaking her hand.

I let out a laugh and walked over to Zara and the food.

"So what did you get," I asked looking at the food.

"Chines and I got a little bit of everything," she said.

"Well we're going to be stuff," I said.

"You got that right," she said.

We took some of the food and put it on the table next to Rain's bed and dug in.

"So since you guys are Emery's friend why doesn't she have a boyfriend," Rain asked eating her chow mein.

"Because she's stubborn," Zara said with her mouth full.

"Don't talk with food in your mouth" Grace said laughing.

"Shut up," Zara said stuffing her face.

"Ok but serious it's because she stubborn"Grace said to Rain.

"That's not true," I said eating my orange chicken.

"But don't worry we're working on it," Grace said.

"Yeah, sooner or later she will have someone, "Zara said and winked at me.

I know damn well she refusing to Xavier and the whole I'm his fiancées.

"We'll see about that," I said.

"Anyway, grace how did you meet Emery," Rain asked.

I looked at Grace and gave her the don't tell her the truth kind of look.

"Well Zara and her both work and the restaurant the same day and Zara introduce me the Emery and then we all became friends," Grace said.

Damn, that was a good lie.

"That's nice, "Rain said taking a bit of her food. "So what are you guys going to do tonight," Rain asked.

"Nothing really, we're just going to meet up with some friends and go to the movies and dinner," Grace said.

That's 100% not true but Rain doesn't need to know.

"Then we're going to go back to my house and talk shit about boys," Zara said.

"Respect" Rain said making us all laugh.

"Great now I'm stuff  and tired," Raim said laying back.

"Same" Grace said placing her food down.

"What time is it," Rain asked.

"It's 9:45," I said looking at my phone.

"Ohh shit we're going to be late," Zara said.

"What time does the movie start," Grace asked.

"10:23," Zara said.

"I'll see you tomorrow," I said to Zara standing from my chair.

"Yeah, and make sure to get me coffee," she said.

"I will," I said kissing her forehead.

"Good, now go have fun," she said.

"Ok, I love you," I said grabbing my purse from the chair.

"Love you too," she said.

"Bye Rain, it was nice meeting you"

"You too, bye Zara" Rain said.

"Bye," Zara said.

We walked out of the room and closed the door behind us.

"I like your sister," Grace said walking away.

"Me too," Zara said and followed.

I laughed and looked back to the window of Raims room and seen that she was already sleeping peacefully. I smiled and just looked at her till Zana had to open her mouth.

"Hurry us we're going to be late," Zara said.

I rolled my eyes and then turned my head to see Zara and Grace halfway down the hall.

"I'm coming," I said walking to them.

I finally reached them and Zara throw her arm around me then Grace while walking.

"Let the night began, "Zara said.
