Chapter 54

Emery's POV

It's been a week since I've been staying with Xavier, and it was hell. Every night Xavier had brought some chick to fuck, and I wouldn't be able to sleep cause I would have to hear them. What Annoys me the most is when the chick would come downstairs half-naked and try to be all buddy-buddy with me. I don't have a problem with what Xavier is doing, I mean I shouldn't be considering the fact I had said there's nothing between us. It's also his house so he does have the right to anything.

I was walking downstairs when there was a knock at the door, I walked off to the door and opened it. There was a woman and she looked about my age but a couple of years older, and she was holding a little boy in her arms, he looked 2.

"Can I help you?" I was confused.

"Yea," she said passing me "is Xavier home," she asked.

I shut the door and turned my attention to her.

"No, he just left..." I said looking at the little boy then back at her "have a meeting with a friend" I said.

"Oh," she said, catching onto what I was saying.

"Not to sound rude but who are you?" I asked.

"Oh my apologies, I'm Lexi, Xavier's sister," she said.

HE ALSO HAS A SISTER!?. HOW THE HELL DIDN'T I KNOW.

"It's nice to meet you," I said, sending her a smile.

"So who are you then," she asked.

"I'm Emery, a friend of Zara's and Grace," I said.

"I'm surprised they have another friend, considering they do not like other girls that much," she said sitting the boy on the couch.

Well, this is awkward.

"So is he your kid," I asked.

She opened her mouth to say something but Zane walked through the front door.

"Brother," Lexi said.

"Lexi," he said, waking in the house "what are you doing here," he asked.

"We both haven't seen you guys in a long time," she said.

"Does Xavier know you here?"Zane asked.

"No, I wanna surprise him," she said.

"Well this is for sure going to be a surprise that doesn't end well," he said.

"What's that supposed to mean," Lexi asked.

"Nothing" he quickly said.

"Anyway I'm going to make some tea, watch the baby," she said pointing at Zane and walking to the kitchen.

He watches her leave and once she is out of sight he snaps his head to me. Damn this dude almost broke his neck.

"What did she tell you," he asked.

"Nothing why," I asked confused.

"Nothing as in she didn't say anything at all, or she didn't say anything important?" He asked.

What is up with him, did she know something that I didn't know?

"What's wrong with you," I asked him.

"Nothing," he said and sat next to the baby on the couch, who was now playing with his toys.

"Drinking tea in this house tastes better than anything else," Lexi said, waking back in.

I and Zane both look at her wired.

"Don't look at me like that" she said standing behind the couch and smacking Zane behind the head.

"Oww," he said, giving her a death stare.

"Boo who," she said and walked around the couch and sat down.

Yup and that's a brother and sister bond.

"When is your brother going to come," she asked, setting her drink on the table that was there.

"I don't know," he said, playing with the baby.

I took a closer look at the baby and he has big brown eyes like Xavier, he had all of Xavier's facial features, that's weird.

The door opened, making me turn my body around and Xavier was there.

"Lexi"

"Xavier"

"Dada"
