Dylan's P.O.V:

"Because I love you." She said and then she hung up.

I kept staring at the phone. I wish I had the call recorder device because this was the call I would always want to hear.

She loves me.

Emily loves me.

My Quartza loves me.

What could make me happier?

I had lost all hope in these three days.

I had expected her to call on the same day, or at least the next day but when I didn't receive her call yesterday, I gave up all the hopes.

There is only so much a heart can bear.

Mine has been broken so many times, by the same person.

And yet, I was holding onto hope.

And today, finally, Emily said those words to me.

The words she considered as forbidden. She said them and I know she meant them.

Then why am I not as happy as I thought I would be?

Because she is moving.

Right.

Right now, I didn't feel even slightly happy. I was furious.

I wanted to kick something, something so hard that it would make a hole.

She made me so angry!

The one who angers you, owns you.

Elizabeth Kenny said.

It was true. Emily Sky owned me, every part of me.

She had such a strong hold over me that her one frown who have me worried what went wrong. Her tears who have me kill anyone in way. Her smile that made me happy, the happiest if I'm the one she's smiling at/because.

I remember what Dad said when he realised Jake and I were turning out to be players.

He just shook his head and chuckled, then said.

"One day, you are going to meet a girl who'll be unlike anyone else you've known. She'll know all the right things to say. What makes you laugh, what turns you on, what drives you wild and best of all, you'll do for her exactly what she does for you."

We just rolled our eyes and laughed together when he said that.

"One day, you two, are going to meet someone who will make you realise why it never worked out with anyone else."

Both of us sobered up and listened to him carefully.

He was making sense.

And now I realise that he was right.

Now I know why it didn't work out with anyone else.

I had dated numerous girls and I was ready for something serious but no girl seemed right. But with Emily, everything just...fits.

My first instincts were to run to Emily and beg her to stay but I had to clear my thoughts first.

Why would she sudden leave town?

Maybe it's a trick.

I dialled Rebecca's number.

"Hey." She greeted.

"Is it true? Is she really leaving?" I asked her, not giving a f*ck about manners.

She sighed.
