I know I am writing after a very long time!! But...enjoy!!
-------------------------------------------- Did it ever happen to you? I mean, you know, the situation where you do not know whether you want to kill yourself or the person in front of you first. If yes, welcome to my world.
The most self-obsessed person was sitting in front of me i.e. Dylan Castle. He was chewing fries from my plate. He was sitting at my table. Ok, not technically my table but I came here first.
~Twelve hours ago~
"Hey, I am Emily Sky and I wanted to know why I was called." I said at the counter of the school administrative block. The lady took no notice of me.
"Hello?" I tapped the glass twice.
"Oh, sorry dear. I was finding Rudolph." The lady said. She was wearing spectacles and was in mid-forties, I guess. I could see the tiny wrinkles on her forehead.
"Your reindeer?"
"No dear! Not a reindeer. Rudolph is my pet frog."
"Frog?" I squeaked. I hated insects and bugs and I especially despised frogs and lizards.
"Yes honey. It was so young, just a few months old." She said with affection.
"A frog?" I repeated as I gulped.
"Yes...Alas! He is lost. He loves to roam around but it's his first time here in the school." She sighed.
"A frog?" I repeated idiotically.
"Oh, I forgot to ask. Why are you here?"
"Er...I was told that I was being expected here?"
"Your name?" She asked as she opened a long green register.
"Emily, Emily Sky."
"No, I am sorry. I think you misunderstood dear." She looked up after going through the register twice.
"But I was..."
"Emily!" I heard Rebecca's loud screeching voice behind me.
"Rebecca? What's going on?" I walked to her.
"Nothing. I just wanted a small favor from you." Her face was different yet familiar.
"What kind of favor?" I ogled her.
"Not much. It's just a small tiny favor which you can do any time." It was her puppy dog face!
"Forget it; I am not doing any kind of favor for you." I walked towards the lockers.
"Why? I have helped you so many times?" She cried.
"Huh?" I was left speechless, trying to recollect the times when she was 'helpful'. All I could remember was that she was 'helpful' in destroying the whole house.
"You...have...helped...me?!" I gasped.
"Ok, it was an understatement but, please help me!" She begged.
"Why should I? You destroyed my room!"
"Yeah but..."
"And did not even help me out."
"Yes I know nevertheless..."
"Instead you stepped out for some kind of party you returned nine hours later from!"
"Will you let me finish?"
"Yeah, I am done." I locked my locker and faced her.
"Look, do me this favor and I'll buy you...Mark of Athena." She offered.
