The moment I said the life-changing words, I got the most bizarre reaction.

Samantha shouted loudly, flipped off the covers, still shouting, ran out of the room, still shouting and then began banging Rebecca's door, yet shouting again.

"Open up! Open up! Open up!" Samantha shouted.

"Where's the fire?" Rebecca opened, holding onto a vase.

Why would she get a vase? I crunched my eyebrows in confusion.

Samantha shouted again. "Where's the robber?" Rebecca stepped outside, taking small, puny steps.

Face-palm.

That explained the vase. "There's no robber." Samantha informed, still bouncing on her place. "Then where's the fire?" Rebecca looked around swiftly, searching for smoke or flames. "Forest." She answered.

"What?" Both of us asked at the same time. "That doesn't matter! You didn't hear the latest news!" Samantha began, literally, jumping on her place as she told Rebecca the news.

Rebecca dropped the vase in shock and I instantly dived to catch it.

No! Crack. No! I actually liked it. In fact I was the one who bought it. I sniffed, looking at the broken pieces from the floor view. After keeping a moment of silence for the beautiful vase and hoping its soul to rest in peace, I looked up, I saw Rebecca and Samantha holding hands, bouncing together.

The way little girls do when they are happy about something.

Face-Palm.

"Stop!" I shouted, having enough of this silliness. Both of them stopped jumping and squealing, for once, thank Christ, and then looked at me.

"She's right." Rebecca said. Samantha nodded in agreement.

"What now?" Rebecca said.

"Now what." Samantha corrected her statement but then, nodded.

"What?" I asked as I looked at them. "You are going to tell him obviously. But how?" Rebecca had that thinking face on.

"I am going to?" I asked in confusion. "Is this what people do?" I asked again.

"Yeah." Samantha waved her hand as if my question was irrelevant.

"Let's text him." Samantha suggested.

"No! This needs to be face-to-face." Rebecca declared.

"But how can she? Have you ever told a guy you liked him?" Samantha challenged. Rebecca scrunched her nose.

"Never." Samantha looked happy with her victory, until Rebecca added, "They come to me." Rebecca held her head up high.

"Back to the question. Now what?"

"Let's go to his place. We'll throw stones at his window and Emily will pour her heart out!" Samantha had that dreamy look on. Both Rebecca and I shook our heads.

"That's guy job." She said. While I said, "He might not be home."

Both of them looked at me. Then at each other. "She knows his schedule!"

They both shrieked in joy. I just cocked my head.

"No, I don't. I just...know." I answered. Both of them looked at me. Then at each other, again.

"She knows him!" They both shrieked in joy, again.

"Back to the point?" I snapped my fingers.

"Yeah." They nodded. "Wait, this is a serious conversation." Rebecca said.
