Chapter 21: Everybody dance now!

"Have you lost your mind?!" I whispered harshly. I did not want to draw any kind of attention to myself anymore.

"What?" He shrugged.

"That's it. I am leaving." I turned around to leave through that tiny door.

"C'mon Quartza. Live a little." He held me arm.

"Live a little?! Who wants to 'live' in this rusty C-grade bar full of whores and strippers and drunken men?!" Yeah. This is where Castle took me. By the 'play', he meant a boxing match, which was going to take place tonight, and apparently, his friend was participating in it.

"Ok, listen. I'm sorry ok but this is fun."

"What fun?! You'll probably take a hooker home but I won't be able to get this image out of my mind for years!" I winced by just mentally imagining it. If imaging could have such a drastic effect, what would actually seeing it do to me? I winced on thinking this.

"I know you think I lied but I did not." He defended himself. He raised his hands in air when I glared at him.

"I simply hid the truth." He said as he pulled me along but I tried not to budge. 'Tried' here being the important word because he was so damn strong, he could just drag me along and I would weigh like a Barbie doll.

"Look, just stay till twelve ok? I'll drop you home myself." He promised and I snorted.

"You are supposed to drop me home!" I said.

"Yeah I know but please? Till twelve." He pleaded.

"Fine I will." I took a deep breath and sighed. I have to take it in an optimistic way.

"Anyways, this place doesn't seem so bad." I tried to sound positive. What could be bad? I wasn't asked by any man how much I took for a night.

"Hey girl! Why are you so covered up? Remove your shirt!" A half-naked girl came towards us. She just had a bra on and denim shorts. She had beer bottles in her hands and her speech slurred. Someone's drunk huh?

"Or it probably is." I muttered. I saw Castle biting back a laugh. I continued to glare at him.

"Hey, this place is normally nice!" He raised his hands in air again.

"Yeah, this is the nicest place in the entire world! I mean, where can you find so much of peace and sanity and calmness right?!" I fought the urge to roll my eyes.

"Are you being sarcastic?" He asked with a smirk.

"Absolutely not! What in the world would give you that idea?" I rolled my eyes.

"C'mon. Let's get you something to drink."

"Non-alcoholic." I had better clear stuff before anything unfortunate happens.

"Obviously."

Castle's P.O.V

"EVERYBODY DANCE NOW!" Quartza shouted, yelling out absurd things at random people and already stumbling around the bar.

If there was one thing I had learnt for certain tonight then it was this: Emily Sky was an extreme lightweight.

I had just spiked three of her drinks and she was already acting out of her mind. I had to keep a close eye on her before she did something clearly idiotic and harm herself.

You are going soft Dylan.

My inner voice said but I ignored it this time. Caring for a girl can never be bad. Especially when that girl is Emily Sky. She was so caring and sweet and adorable, who wouldn't feel protective about her?

You are most definitely turning into those cheesy romantic chicks; better go in the washroom and check if your little man is still there.

What was up with my inner voice? Couldn't he just shut up for Christ's sake?

"Wohoooo!" Quartza shouted as she stood over the table, swaying her hips to the Ke$ha song which was on. And this girl believed she couldn't dance. I chuckled and then gulped down another shot. She looked at me and gave me a toothy grin. I caught my breath. She was beautiful. Maybe realizing it in a bar amidst fifty drunken men and whores wasn't the best setting but I couldn't subside the epiphany. Her black hair, which was tied into a ponytail earlier, had come out loose and a few strands were blowing over her face. Her pure black eyes were adding to her light skin color. She did not put on make-up like other girls. Girls bought creams and cosmetics to get a skin like her. Her smile was the most captivating and mesmerizing thing in her.

"Hey man!" Jason, the bartender approached.

"Hey Jason. Missed you out." I shook his hand and he brought me a shot of vodka.

"You have been observing that girl since fast thirty minutes mate." He chuckled while serving tequila to the old man beside me.

"Yeah well. She is innocent." I smiled at her and saw her laughing at some guy's joke. My fist clenched absentmindedly.

"I must say, this is a first." He smirked.

"Other girls are experienced." I clarified before he could reach to any other conclusion.

"So you wouldn't feel anything if that guy did that?" He pointed towards Quartza.

"What guy?" I swiftly spun to see Quartza dancing with a guy on the table. She giggled and laughed and lightly slapped the guy on the shoulder.

I feel nothing.

The guy moved his hands to her hips and brought her closer to him.

Nope. Nothing at all.

She continued to giggle and kept her head on his chest.

Not even a bit.

He moved forward and gave her a small peck on the lips.

Are you fucking kidding me?!

I quickly moved to the table and pulled Quartza over my shoulders. She weighed nothing compared to other girls.

"Hey! I was having fun!" She complained as I got her out of the bar.

"Quartza you are drunk."

"I am not Drunk! I am Emily!" She whined and then let out a hiccup .

"Yeah sorry. I forgot you had this marvelous sense of humor. You are just hilarious." I rolled my eyes as I placed her in the back seat.

"Hey! Thank you! That's so sweet of you." She gave me a toothy grin and I just kept looking at her. How could a girl look beautiful when she was drunk? I started the car and raced the engine. Quartza was peacefully lying in the back seat while I was fighting internally. The fight was on a topic you don't wanna know about but the result declared was:

I have a tad bit of crush on Quartza a.k.a Emily Sky.

So, how did you guys like it? I had total fun but more is yet to come. I'll make sure Castle's family is the most epic one you have met! :P
