Rose is a symbol of love Red like the blood within which our love flows carrying our melodic heartbeats.
We give or take roses Often without cutting its thorns, Letting it pain the ones who touch it And thus Often roses are hated for having thorns!
Thorns are to protect us from wrong ones Not to hurt anyone who loves us!
But often we dwell deep within our already gone poisonous past And sharpen our thorns for everyone who loves us in our present, Protecting ourselves, but hurting their hearts who could be our better future.
Thorns can also denote fake love--
Sometimes bodily lust, Making a physical touch, People think to be love. But dear lovers, True love is the meeting of two souls Protecting each other's heart from rust.
Sometimes changing interests, Being treated with sweetness, People think to be love. But dear lovers, True love is when you love them, even at times of their gloom, whole heartedly For not a season, but forever.
Sometimes for beautiful faces, Strong, powerful and glorious ones, People call it love. But dear lovers, True love doesn't seeks power or faces It loves even the imperfections in the beloved.
Sometimes a company A need temporary, People call it love. But dear lovers, True love is a need which stays forever Without getting bored of each other.
Sometimes desires made with lies, For fun and timepass, People call it love. But dear lovers, True love is incomplete without honesty, loyalty and trust, In your life your beloved should always come first.
Sometimes based on society's rules, Keeping freedom inside a cage, People call it love. But dear lovers, True love accepts a person the way they're irrespective of the judgemental world's views, Without limiting their choice and voice.
Sometimes just giving expensive gifts and bouquets And claiming to be a true lover, People call it love. But dear lovers, True love has a never-ending fragrance even in little things Beyond the realms of fake claims and materialism.
Love is in the oneness
Without owning someone,
But owning the duties of caring without complaining,
Embracing without hurting,
Protecting without restricting,
Respecting without faking,
Trusting without lying,
Prioritising without boasting,
Understanding without asking,
Being there without claiming,
Guiding without forcing, and
Loving without any limits.
Be a rose whose thorns do not pierce innocent blooming hearts!
Be a rose whose petals cover the scars of brave yet bleeding hearts!
Be a rose whose scent heals the wounds of kind and loving hearts!
Be a rose whose warm touch melts freezing lonely hearts!
Be a rose whose divine colour brightens up the fading smile of the unloved hearts!
Express how much you love someone Being unafraid of loving infront of anyone
Write a prose from heart to your loved one And give a rose without a thorn
Roses do have thorns, But use it only to keep yourself away from the wrong ones who hurt!
Be a rose with a thorn whenever someone comes to pluck you,
But be a rose without a thorn when someone comes to embrace you!
Because lovers grow and embrace "rose" in their heart's garden.
And that's where all the happiness and peace can be found, not in competition for money or rush for fame or war for land, but in the most highest and blissful feeling in the universe---
