The sins I've committed,
I loved you and I hate it.
You were caged between a vision
and a mystic scene,
In a way, you know what I mean.
When the dark turned to fumes of smoke,
I couldn't resist the heat, the friction evoked.
I knew every time I could conceal it,
But this time it was gonna destroy me.
It was not just about quilts and pillows kept non-aligned,
I thought it was about two souls getting intertwined.
But the moment you left me all alone,
Alone amidst your savoury cologne.
You faded away, dust by dust,
I knew you were too good to be true.
Knew from the first, it wasn't love
But I was just a fool for you.
